ORDER:

An agreement was reached between the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the
Telangana Joint Action Committee of Employees, Teachers and Workers on 04.03.2011.
The item 6 in the agreement is follows:-

“The recommendations made by Girglani Commission to be

implemented in as far as it relates to Local bodies like Greater
Hyderabad Municipal Corporation including Urban Development
Authorities and Hyderabad Metro Water Supply & Sewerage Board.”

2. Government hereby order that

(i) The Hyderabad Metro Water Supply & Sewerage Board should take
deputationists, wherever required, only from the local cadre i.e.,
Hyderabad District for District cadre posts and Zone-VI for zonal
cadre posts.

(ii) the provisions of Para (6), sub para 4(i) & (ii) of the Andhra Pradesh
Public Employment [Organisation of Local Cadres and Regulation of
Direct Recruitment] Order, 1975 shall be followed by all Urban
Development Authorities in the State.

(iii) the borrowing of an employee by way of deputation by a local body

from Government shall be from the same local area (local cadre).
