hey, I am ananya (she/they) from the second year. I can be goofy-silly and just
write “im a spiderman, you can find hanging out on trees”, but that’s just silly
and frustrating, when you are here to choose a mentor. NALSAR is what you
make it out to be- it’s interesting because everything is a clean slate now, and
you can learn about new things, and unlearn many old things. The thought of
‘mentorship’ would ideally strike as help with notes, exams, moots, acads in
general, (which to some extent is true and valid to expect from your part) but,
its not only limited to academics and is much more. The kind of ‘mentorship’ I love playing sports (almost everything),
you can expect from me would be emotional support- more than anything im photography, cooking food is very funsies,

Hi guys, Firstly, congratulations on making it into NALSAR! My name is Rajesh
Patel, and I am from Telangana. I am a sports enthusiast. I was in your place
one year ago, filled with confusion about what to study, how to survive at
NALSAR, and how to handle the peer pressure—challenges that are common
for every first-year student. In my first year, I often felt clueless, as I didn't
know any seniors before coming to NALSAR and I found my friends hanging
out with seniors by which i felt a little helpless. However, my mentors and
seniors which i got afterwards were a great support system and helped me
navigate through those initial uncertainties. Now, I am willing to be that same
source of support for you. I am here to help you in every possible situation,

Nalsar ain't really what we all hear about before getting here. Not sure if you've
gotten that essence yet, but if not, you will very soon. In my opinion, the first
year is the hardest until you find your own way to navigate this place. The first
few weeks are rather easier than the rest because of the all-new, fancy factor.
You'll discover spaces and traditions (some are just stupid) here, and that
excitement lasts for some time.
And then it gets sort of tougher. Personally, Nalsar hasn't been a great
experience, especially on the social side of things. Seniors are one factor that
has helped me the most to date. And therefore I am serious about mentorship.
As a mentor, I would be a friend first—if you'd like. Let's talk, discuss, rant,
whatever, anytime, anywhere—literally anytime, anywhere. If something is out

of my power, I can connect you with the right person. You don't have to be my
mentee to benefit from any of this. Just jot down my number or email ID, and
let's connect. I'm open, let's actually connect. This place can get tough, and we
all need friends.
Also, all of you, please keep an eye on your mental health. It's crucial. If you
ever need to talk about your mental health, or anything else, I'm here for you.
