III. Rationale:
This proposal outlines a Color Fun Run event, a unique and engaging fundraising initiative
designed to bring communities together while supporting a worthy cause as it fosters:
1. Community Engagement and Social Impact
- This event is open to all ages and fitness levels, fostering a sense of community and
inclusivity. This broad appeal attracts diverse participants, maximizing potential reach
and impact.
- The vibrant colors, music, and festive atmosphere create a memorable experience,

- By aligning with a chosen beneciaries within the barangay, the event directly supports a
worthy cause, generating awareness and tangible financial contributions.

2. To ensure sufficient financial resources funds for the chosen beneciaries of the outreach
program.
3. To create a collaborative and impactful event that benefits the entire community.
4. To promote a healthy lifestyle and well-being among participants.
5. To encourage participation, and create memorable experience for the participants.

V. Project Description:
In celebration of the Pride Month, the "Color Fun Run: Run for a Cause" is a vibrant and
inclusive community event designed to raise awareness and funds for the upcoming “Outreach
Program: An Advocacy Campaign”. Participants of all ages and fitness levels within the
barangay are invited to join in the fun, running or walking a designated course while being
showered with colorful liquids. Participants are expected to wear a plain white t-shirt. This
unique and engaging experience will create a memorable and celebratory atmosphere,
fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.

The event will feature:

- Color stations: Participants will be showered with colorful liquids at designated stations
along the course.
- Entertainment and activities: Music, food, and activities will add to the festive
atmosphere.
- Fundraising opportunities: Participants can raise funds through individual sponsorship
and event merchandise sales.
 The "Color Fun Run: Run for a Cause" promises a fun and impactful experience, bringing
communities together while supporting a worthy cause.
The conduct of Color Fun Run with the theme "Run for a Cause" is an initiative of Sangguniang
Kabataan of Barangay San Lorenzo to raise funds for the “Outreach Program: An Advocacy
Campaign” for the children of Barangay San Lorenzo and at the same time promote a healthy lifestyle
and fitness among it’s participants. This event involves the participation of the entire barangay
community by joining the different activities prepared for every station which will be facilitated by
the SK Members and their respective Junior Purok Officers and other volunteer individuals.

Winners of the said event who will successfully accomplish the activities set, will receive a token of
appreciation and prizes. Prizes and certificates are prepared in order to give recognition to the
winners. This event is compulsory except for those individuals who are incapable of doing such tasks.
The council feels that this activity will be a great means of raising funds for the mentioned project.

Thus, this activity is proposed.
