THIS DEED OF ASSIGNMENT is made this ______ day of July, 2024
BETWEEN (BELLO FAMILY) MR. HASSAN SENIOR BELLO, MR.
HASSAN JUNIOR BELLO, MR. KARIMU BELLO AND MR. MOSHOOD
BELLO of Seriki Oko Village, Ifo Local Government Area, Ogun State of Nigeria
(hereinafter referred to as the “ASSIGNOR” which expression shall where the
context so admits include his heirs, legal personal representatives, successor-in-
title, assigns and others claiming through and under him) of the first part.

AND

MISS. SIMI OLASUPO, MISS TEMI OLASUPO AND MISS TINU


OLASUPO of No. 8, Adekunle Bailey, Dalemo, Alakuko, Lagos State of Nigeria
(hereinafter referred to as the “ASSIGNEE” which expression shall where the
context so admits include his heirs, legal personal representatives, successor-in-
title, assigns and others claiming through and under him) of the second part.

WHEREAS:

1. The piece of land to be assigned formed part of the vast portion of land
originally belonged to BELLO FAMILY in which was subsequently
transferred/sold to (OLASUPO FAMILY) MISS. SIMI OLASUPO, MISS
TEMI OLASUPO AND MISS TINU OLASUPO in 2024.

2. The ASSIGNOR herein became the owner of the said piece of land by way
of purchase from (BELLO FAMILY) MR. HASSAN SENIOR BELLO,
MR. HASSAN JUNIOR BELLO, MR. KARIMU BELLO AND MR.
MOSHOOD BELLO and has since being in possession of the said piece of
land by exercising maximum right of ownership without any claim or
interference must not come/arise from any third-party.

3. The ASSIGNOR as Beneficial owner has hereby agreed to assign the said
piece of land for the sum of N600, 000.00 (Six Hundred Thousand Naira
Only) to the ASSIGNEE and the ASSIGNEE herein as agree to purchase
same.
4. In compliance with the provision of the land use Act of 1978, the
ASSIGNOR has agreed to assign the said piece of land to the ASSIGNEE.

NOW THIS DEED WITNESSETH AS FOLLOWS:

1. In pursuance of the recital cited above and in consideration of the sum of


N600,000.00 (Six Hundred Thousand Naira Only) the ASSIGNOR as
Beneficial owner hereby assign for the use and enjoyment of the ASSIGNEE
that the piece of land measuring approximately “60 X 90” square meters
situate, lying and being at Seriki Oko Village, Ifo Local Government Area,
Ogun-state, Nigeria which is described and delineated on a survey plan
no………………………dated………………………………….drawn and
signed by …………………………………………….. a licensed surveyor
attached to this Deed of Assignment.

2. To hold same unto the use of the ASSIGNEE absolutely subject to the
provisions of the Land Use Act, 1978.

3. The ASSIGNEE hereby covenants with the ASSIGNOR to pay all taxes
rates, assessments and out-goings whatsoever imposed and/or charged upon
the said land by any lawful authority.

4. The ASSIGNOR covenants with the ASSIGNEE that he has not done any
act, deed and/or anything whatsoever in respect of the land which could
make him incapable of or prevented him from assigning the said piece of
land and further agrees at all time to indemnify the ASSIGNEE fully of any
act done by any other rival claimants, to the said piece of land herein assign
in favour of the ASSIGNEE.

5. The ASSIGNOR hereby covenants with the ASSIGNEE to execute any


documents of transfer hereafter as are necessary in favour of the ASSIGNEE
towards effective assignment of the property hereby assigned without any
hindrance from him or any other person(s).
IN WITNESS OF WHICH the parties have executed this Deed in the manner
below, the day and year first above written.
