UNIT–I
1. (A) If the trigonometric series

2. (A) Let f be a bounded function on [a,b] and α be a monotonically increasing function on [a, b].
If P* is a refinement of a parition P of [a, b], then show that :

(B) Prove that f ∈ R(α) on [a, b] if and only if for every ε > 0 there exists a partition P of
