ASSESSMENT PATTERN AND EXAMINATION POLICY

Term 2- 2021-22

Warm greetings!

Hope you all are keeping safe and healthy.

As we step into the next term, this is to inform you that we will continue with virtual classes till further notification from DOE,
NCT of Delhi. Please find below the assessment plan and detailed examination policy for term-2, for Middle School.
Term 2 syllabus will be shared soon on class Whatsapp group and email. Syllabus for Unit tests will be shared by respective
subject teachers one week before the exam.

For Classes VI-VIII

Assessment in Term II will comprise of:

End-term Examination
a) Written Exam: – To be held in February/March 2022
b) Oral Test- To be held in February/March 2022

Internal Assessment- This will be done under the following domains:

a) Unit Test – 3 (Pen paper test-30 marks) - As per the attached schedule, starting 22nd October from
7.50 am- 9 am followed by the special Monday Timetable.

b) Unit Test- 4 (Pen paper test-30 marks) - As per the attached schedule, starting 29th November
onwards, from 7.50 am- 9 am followed by the special Monday Timetable.

c) Art Integrated Project- As per the rubrics mentioned in the project document.

d) Subject enrichment activities (2 activities per subject, details of which will be given by the
respective subject teachers).
Retest policy:
a) Students will be allowed to take the retest only in case of a medical reason. Information regarding the
same to be given to Class Teacher before the commencement of the test.
b) In case the child is absent on the day of retest also, no re-retest will be conducted.
c) Syllabus for retest will remain the same as the respective Unit test or Term paper.

Please find below the date sheet for Unit test 3 and 4. (Please note: On UT days, students have to join at 7.50 am.
Rest of the days, classes will begin from 8.30 am)
