IMPORTANT INFORMATION
We are authorised by Alwyn Insurance Company Ltd to act as their agents for the purpose of
formally cancelling insurance cover and giving you notice that any existing cover with them on
the above vehicle is cancelled as from seven days after the date of this letter. The reason for this is
shown overleaf.

There will therefore be no insurance cover in force after 24/11/2023 and you should arrange
fresh insurance if you still own the vehicle unless you have made a SORN declaration to the
DVLA (the law requires that the owner of every vehicle must either insure it or complete a SORN
form). We may be able to arrange this new insurance for you – please contact us soon.

Details of all motor insurance policies are held on the Motor Insurance Database which is used by
the police and other enforcement agencies to check that a vehicle is insured. The Database entry
for this policy and vehicle will be deleted in 7 days. Vehicles not shown on the Database as being
insured are at risk of being seized.

this insurance.

( ) We have been advised by your bank that your direct debit instruction has been cancelled.

( ) We have been advised that the bank account details provided are not valid for direct debit
payments.

( ) Your finance agreement is incomplete or has been declined due to previous defaulted
payments. We require the policy to be paid in full or the loan agreement set up by someone
over the age of 18 who agrees to the terms of the loan.

( ) We require the policy to be paid in full or the loan agreement set up with valid bank details.

( ) Your vehicle has been treated as a total loss and no change of vehicle has been processed.

( X ) The required details of your driving licence have not been received. To avoid cancellation
we URGENTLY need, for yourself and all named drivers:
 a photocopy of the complete driving licence (including both sides of the photocard if
available) and of any CBT certificate;
 a Share My Licence code and the last 8 digits of the Driver Licence Number. You can
get this code from 0300 0830013 or:
https://www.viewdrivingrecord.service.gov.uk/driving-record/licence-number.

(X ) We require a copy of the V5 logbook for the insured vehicle.

(X ) We require a copy of a utility bill, dated within the last three months showing your name
and address.

( ) We require proof of the no claims bonus relevant to the insured vehicle declared on your
policy or payment of an additional premium in order to remove this.
