WEEK-1

In my first week as an assistant trainer for the Electrical Installation

qualification (EIM), I realized the importance of my role due to the high
demand for assistance with two student groups. Welcomed by Sir Andrian
and Ejay, the EIM trainer, I encountered many students lacking basic
electrical installation knowledge. This motivated me to study more about the
industry to better support them. I've learned that teachers need to be
adaptable and knowledgeable beyond their specialization. By observing and
helping, I’ve gained a deeper appreciation for EIM. Despite the challenges of
adjusting to new circumstances, people, and skills, my first week has been
rewarding and exciting.

WEEK-2

Due to the rigorous training of the EIM trainees and the impending
assessment, I had a very demanding and difficult week. However, I am
grateful to all of the students because they are the ones with the aptitude and
skills in the field of EIM. After their assessments, we had a "budol fight" where
we discussed our diverse lifestyles and shared advice on starting our chosen
careers. This informal gathering allowed us to bond and learn from each other
in a relaxed setting.
I also got to know their EIM instructor, and we exchanged teaching tips,
broadening my perspective on what it takes to be an effective teacher. Their
insights were invaluable, helping me understand different approaches to
teaching EIM. The second week passed, and I could see the satisfaction and
happiness in the students' eyes, reflecting their dedication and progress.
This experience has been enriching for me as well. It reinforced my
commitment to improving my skills and supporting my students. I'm honored
to be part of their journey and grateful for the opportunity to grow alongside
them.

WEEK-3

Malabog National High School arrived this week with new trainees after
their previous school closed. I assisted with their tasks and our usual duties.
The head trainer led a practical exercise before the evaluation, which involved
setting up a lighting circuit, troubleshooting electrical issues, reviewing the
week's lessons, and conducting oral assessments.
Witnessing the trainees' dedication and progress throughout the week
was inspiring. Despite my initial challenges and limited experience, I am
grateful for the opportunity to contribute to their learning journey as an
assistant trainer. Their successful completion of the assessments fills me with
pride and reinforces my commitment to developing my skills in EIM education.
In addition to supporting their technical training, I also engaged with
them in informal discussions about their career aspirations and shared
experiences. This interaction not only fostered a sense of camaraderie but
also provided insights into their strengths and challenges.
As I continue to grow in my role, I look forward to further opportunities
to learn from both the trainees and my colleagues. Their enthusiasm and
commitment motivate me to strive for excellence in guiding them through their
EIM education at Malabog National High School.

WEEK-4

I wasn't ready for Suawan National High School to arrive in my fourth

week on the SIT journey. I didn't think there would be this many, but we
managed to manage them and divided them into two groups. We then took a
tour of the laboratory where they learned to identify basic electrical symbols
and tools. We had some electrical problems during practice when the
instruction was being conducted. Even though they may have issues, they
always have a smile on their faces. I've been on SIT for four weeks now, and
it's been tough and exhausting.

WEEK-5

We are on the fifth week since our EIM trainees arrived. Similar to the
previous school, Tubod National High School is a large institution. My head
trainer, co-assistant trainer, and I talked about how to comprehend voltage,
current, and resistance—basic electrical concepts. Additionally, they are
sufficiently skilled and capable during training.
They've taught me a lot, and occasionally they want me to verify their
work. To help people comprehend what we are doing, I allow my best
students to teach in the field through practical experience. To help students
get ready for assessment day, we held questions and answers following
practical practice and the prior schools, and they've all passed; I'm grateful for
them. thank you, Tubod National High School.

WEEK-6

Sir Adrian assigned me to Sir Ejay Clark Francisco during my last week
since Panabo National High School requires an assistant trainer. and
following that, I give a tour of the laboratory. In order to assure compliance,
we learnt how to use checklists and paperwork while conducting electrical
safety inspections. The practical inspection and documentation exercise: We
troubleshoot electrical circuits and systems for a whole day, learning about
typical issues and how to resolve them.
On the last day of the course, we went over everything we had learnt in
detail. Our practical exam consisted of installing an entire electrical system
and troubleshooting any problems that arose. We also talked about future
educational options and professional potential. When I think back on the last
six weeks, I am appreciative of every trainee we worked with because they all
not only helped me learn about EIM, but I also have a story to share.
