Development C. Presentation of the Lesson
Allan, a front liner from Laguna Medical Center is a hardworking nurse
who just got his vaccine yesterday. He was in charge in the COVID-19
facility since the pandemic started. Out of 130 nurses, only 60% are done
with their vaccination. How many nurses have been vaccinated?
Ask:
*Who is the front liner from Laguna Medical Center?
*How is he as a nurse?
*What did he get yesterday?
*Where is he in charge since the pandemic started?
*How many nurses does the hospital have?
We are asked to find the number of nurses who have been vaccinated.
Use the formula in Techan’s Triangle:
Percentage = Rate x Base
Percentage is part of a whole.
Base is the total or whole.
Rate is the percent of the whole. It has the
percent symbol (%)
