Units of Competency: Draft and Cut Pattern for Casual Apparel

Learning Outcome: Take Body Measurements

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

Given the necessary equipment, tools and materials/supplies, you are required to perform
Take Client’s Body Measurements in accordance with the establishment standards and
procedures. (Allotted time: 1 hour and 30 minutes).
During the Demonstration/Performance Test, I will be observing you while you are performing
the job. You will be rated using the Demonstration Criteria Checklist. After which, questions
may be asked to verify evidences that are not clearly demonstrated in the
Demonstration/Performance Test. It will be followed by a Feedback. Evaluation result is either
COMPETENT OR NOT YET COMPETENT.

Specific instructions:
Note: State here the criteria found in Evidence Plan 1
1. Determine the design of the garment
2. Take client’s body measurements
3. Record measurements accurately
4. Manipulate measurements according to client’s specifications
