Dear Prerna,
I write this letter to let you know of my experience at the Language workshop I attended last week at
Noida. The workshop was conducted by the Indian Council, CISCE and taken by a known face in the
Education industry, Mrs. Hilda Peacock. It was an inaugural session at their Noida office. It was a two-day
workshop on 17th and 18th July but it took me four days including two days of travelling.

I must say that it was quite an enriching experience. Though, I have been teaching for years now, a lot of
things got clarified then. I now realise that Language is not easy to handle and it perplexes you. The
sessions were very interactive and engaging and I am glad that I participated in quite a few activities. I
asked a lot of questions that enabled me understand a lot of concepts in composition and letter writing,
comprehension and grammar. The resource person also discussed about the revised syllabus for class 9.
Workshops and Seminars like these are extremely beneficial for our professional growth. I am glad I was
able to attend it and I am sure I am going to empower my students with my learning.

few events namely a ten-minute skit, a twenty-minute short play and a five-minute mime. All the events
shall be conducted in The Williamson Mayor Hall of the school.

the said contest. The rules and regulations and parameters of judging the events shall be sent across on
