1. GOAL
The goal of this procedure is to offer a method for Inspection, Marking and Tagging HDPE Pipes during
production and on the final Products.

2. SCOPE
This procedure consists all products of P.E.S Co, includes pipes and fittings.

3. PROJECT SPECIFICATION
• Negin Mokran Development Petrochemical Co. (NMPC) has decided to develop a third hub of
Petrochemical Industries in Chabahar Free Trade-Industrial Zone.
• Based on detailed investigation, 1,200 hectares of Chabahar Free Trade- Industrial Zone with
dimensions of 2.7 × 4.4 Km has been allocated for petrochemical zone.
• Mokran Abniroo "MAN" is a company organized and exists under the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran
and is a sub-company of NMPC, desires to establish "Interconnecting Utilities and Offsite of MOKRAN
Petrochemical Complex - Stage 1".

5. MARKING
1. GENERAL
Standards requires that all pipes, fittings and flanges shall be permanently and legibly marked in such a way
that marking does not initiate cracks or other types of failure and such that normal storage, handling,
installation and use does not affect the legibility of the marking.
Note: P.E.S Co. is not responsible for marking becoming illegible due to actions caused during installation
and use such as painting, scratching, or by use of detergents, etc.
2. PIPES
Standard requires that the pipe be marked of frequent intervals approximately 1 meter.
The marking include:

6. TAGGING
1. PIPES
Quality control and inspection is performed during the production and on the final products.
After positive results of quality controls and inspections according to QA standards, the specification label
with a QC stamp is tagged inside the pipe.
This label indicates quality assurance of pipes produced by P.E.S Company.

2. FITTINGS AND FLANGES

The laser engraver simultaneous indicates the quality assurance of fittings and flanges.
All Production and Quality control documents are kept in our factory and could be presented if necessary.
