Something magical happens when you
just add One to a Numberblock—a new
Numberblock appears! Re-create the
Number Magic using Clings by adding
One’s block to another Numberblock.
For example, build Six.
Ask: What do you think will happen if
you add One? Connect One’s Cling to
Six, representing the Number Magic
equation 6 + 1 = 7. Challenge children
to build Seven next to Six and One,
demonstrating an equal number.
Ask: Did the Number Magic work to
make Seven? How can you tell?
