Explain how the study of arts and the social science and be beneficial for an

individual. And for you personally.

It is important to study something in school that you love and which is

also useful in the real world. Most of the people don’t feel that there are much
beneficial things for us from learning liberal art and social science. Despite other’s
belief, I feel that they can give much advantages to our surrounding, to our body
and to our mental in the real world.
First, I want to talk about the definitions of “art” and “social science” and
how they are beneficial for us. Art is an expression of human creative skills in a
visual form such as painting, producing, dance, literature and music etc. Studying
art can increase in psychological resilience which means, and individual can
enhance the ability to adapt to conditions, disadvantages and art can create and
experience akin to meditation which can maintain the balance between mind and
body.
And, what is social science? Social science is the branch of science which
deals with human behaviors in its social and culture aspects. It can also be defined
as the scientific study of human society and social relationship, which
encompasses many other different subjects such as anthropology, economics,
political sciences etc. As social science includes different subjects, it can give us
vast knowledge around the word. It can also give us the moral, the value of society
and modernization. And learning social science help is in being responsible and
active in society.
For me, I see many advantages from learning art. I am crazy on
producing music. Before I’ve found a knee interest in music, I was a stressful and
negative person. But now, I feel myself much better as the saying “Art washes
from the soul the dust of everyday life”, music relives my stress, encourages
creative thinking and leads me to a positive one. It also encourages self-expression
and creative and can build self-confidence as well as a sense of individual identity.
And studying social science helps me know about the freedom, the right,
the living way in society and the importance of democracy which is really
necessary in this crisis situation.
 For summary, studying art and social science isn’t a waste of time as
many people thought. They are beneficial for us, for our mind, for our body in
deed and to our surroundings.
