1. Tell me about yourself.

Eg. My name is Tom. I’m ten years old. I’m in class 5A at Viet My primary school. I live
in Binh Chanh. There are 4 people in my family. They’re my parents, my older brother
and me. I want to be a doctor when I grow up because I want to help sick people.
2. Tell me about your best friend.

Eg. My best friend is Mary. She’s ten years old. She is pretty and kind. She has long,

drawing. Her drawings are really great. I love them.

 Eg. My favorite hobby is playing badminton. I usually play badminton with my friends

Eg. I usually have breakfast at 6:30 in the morning. I have breakfast quickly at home
and then I go to school at 6:45. My mom cooks my breakfast for me. I have breakfast
with all my family members. I usually have Pho for my breakfast but bread and eggs
are my favorite.

Eg. My last vacation was last month. I went to Vung Tau beach with my family. My
dad drove us there by car. In Vung Tau, I saw a beautiful beach and a lot of sailing
boats. I did a lot of different activities there. I swam, collected shells and visited many
places in Vung Tau. I ate a lot of seafoods there. I really enjoyed my holiday.

Eg. My house is in Binh Chanh. I live in a very beautiful house. My house is blue and
white. There is a garden in my house. I usually water the plants there at the weekend.
There are six rooms in my house. There are two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and
two bathrooms. My favorite room is the living room because it’s the place where my
family often get together every evening.
7. Tell me about your plan for the weekend.

Eg. Here’s my plan for the weekend. I’m going to go to the supermarket with my mom
on Saturday morning. I want to buy milk and yogurt. Then, I’m going to go to the
bookstore with my dad in the evening. There are many interesting books and I can buy
some of them. On Sunday, I’m going to visvit my grandparents because I miss them very
much. After I come back home, I will get ready for the next week.

Eg. My bedroom is on the second floor. It’s big and beautiful. My room is pink. There
are a lot of things in my bedroom. There are a lot of teddy bears, a big bed, a bookcase,
a computer and a lamp. There are some nice pictures on the wall, too. I love reading
books in my bedroom.

Eg. My favorite toy is the teddy bear. It’s called Brownie. Brownie has two big eyes
and cute ears. It’s soft, brown and very pretty. My parents bought it for me. I usually
play it with my baby sister in our bedroom. We play it every evening after dinner. The
teddy bear is my favorite toy because it’s my birthday present. I love it.

Eg. My favorite shop is a bookstore. It’s on Le Trong Tan street. It’s not very far from
my house. I usually go there after school. My mom takes me there once or twice a week.
I can buy my school things, books and comic books in the bookstore.

some oranges, some apples, some kiwis and some pineapples for my fruit salad. It’s very
healthy.
12. Tell me about your evening.

Eg. I sometimes help my mom cook dinner and set the table. I usually have dinner at
6:30 with my family. After that, I wash the dishes. I do my homework at 7:30. Then, I
brush my teeth and go to bed at 10 o’clock.
