Personal Qualities of Filipino Teachers
To be a teacher in the Philippines is a challenging profession. Teachers serve the
country just like any other hero. To be a teacher requires a lot of personal and
professional qualities. These qualities make an excellent Filipino teacher an
exceptional professional.
First, the teacher must have innate qualities that are exemplary and are fitted

growing, as even modest gestures can have a significant impact.

REFLECT

Good teachers are role models, whether in school, at home or in the community.
From the teachers that you had in the elementary to college, did the personal
qualities that they possess, help you learn better as a student?
Yes, I believe that my unique personal qualities help in my academic
performance. I am inspired to work harder so that I may repay them for their efforts
by their traits, such as their willingness to embrace their responsibilities as a teacher
and assist us in learning and developing skills.
Identify one personal characteristics of your model teacher that has made a
great impact in your life as a learner. Reflect and describe how quality influenced
you.
Determined is a personal trait of my role model instructor, who had a significant
impact on my life as his student. Even though he is over 50 and has worked in
education for several years, she is still determined to inspire students and teach
them. Despite the numerous challenges he has faced along the way, he has never
given up and continues to do what he loves most being a teacher.
