Dear Sir,

COMPLAIN ON EXORBITANT ELECTRICITY CHARGES BY EKO


ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION COMPANY AND ALL OUTRAGEOUS
ESTIMATED BILLING.

We have reported this matter to Eko Customer Care and they are rejecting our
letters both physically and through DHL Courier Service were all rejected. We
thereby use this forum to further report this matter to your respective office
and we are expected you to expedite action on it.
This outrageous billing system as gotten to climax almost to point of no return
despite the fact that we have reported on this matter on several occasion and
nothing has been done, at Orile Iganmu and Orile Passat feeders, Sari Iganmu,
Amukoko, Badia, Ajegunle, Oridilu, Mosafejo, Badagry, Lagos Island etc. For
example Nurudeen and Hassanat at Orile Feeder has been put in darkness for
the past Eleven month only because of non compliance estimated billing, and
their Transformer has been carried away and we further request that all houses
should be given prepaid meters, Eko disco is requesting from each house
N50,000.00 each before the reinstallation of their transformer. This billing
system without a meter reading should be stopped and a proper mitering system
should be adopted in accordance to the rules of Nigeria Electrical Regulation
Commission. We are been billed N40,000.00 to N80,000.00 etc on monthly
bases.
We will like you to reconnect all those that were disconnected without a written
letter to such customers should be reconnected by due process and their bills
should be minimize in accordance to their consumption of energy supplied.

We have reported this matter to Ikeja Customer Care and they are rejecting our

billing system without a meter reading should be stopped and a proper mitering
