1.1 Prerequisites
The prerequisites described in Chapter 1 of the Troubleshooting Guide apply to mainte-
nance as well.
1.2.2 For systems equipped with an integrated I.I. laser light localizer

if there is no other reference. Exception: items marked with

The work steps identified by these abbreviations are listed as check-off points in the main-
tenance protocol and should be checked off upon completion.
• Now unlock the emergency stop switch. The lifting column can be moved again.
3.2.4 Monitor
SIM Monitor(s)
• Check monitor(s) for damage.
• Check monitor(s) for proper attachment to the monitor trolley.
3.2.5 Labels
SIM Caution labels
• Ensure that all required caution labels are attached and in good condition.
- Replace any illegible labels.
SIM ID labels
• Ensure that all required ID labels are attached and in good condition.
- Replace any illegible labels.
3.4 Operation
SIE Check the operating functions.
• Check whether the operating icons and button labels are clearly legible and recogniz-
able.
• Check whether the light indicators of the control elements and displays are properly
functioning.
• Check all system operating functions.
X NOTE The IQ quick test is part of the safety inspection, but should
only be performed once maintenance has been completed.
See (Final result/quality inspection and maintenance / p. 32).
NOTE The checks in accordance with IEC 62353 are part of the
safety inspection but can only be performed at the end of
maintenance. See (Final Work Steps / p. 33).
4.1 Maintenance
PMP Cleaning the system
• Clean the entire system:
- Visible cables
- Exterior surfaces
- Contact surface of wheels
- Interior space
PMP System ventilation
• Clean the ventilation slots of the SIREMOBIL stand and monitor trolley.
PMP Memoskop ventilation
• Clean the ventilation slots on the MEMOSKOP.
• Check that the fan is functioning properly.
NOTE Perform this check with the lowest possible kV values so that
the front edges of the slot diaphragm blades are effectively
visualized.
PMP Upkeep
• Entire system: Touch up any paint damage as needed.
• Fill out the protocol "Record of checks in accordance with IEC 62353" completely and
then save it with the existing protocols in the system binder.
