Abstract:

Baking Soda has many benefits. Baking soda is known as “sodium bicarbonate”. Baking

soda had been a profitable product for 150 years, and its popularity has done nothing but increase

in the past years. Baking soda is health friendly and does not contain any hazardous ingredients

that will hurt your body, in fact, baking soda helps with body functions such as balancing your

pH level and neutralizing stomach acids. Baking soda is also super absorbent, which builds its

stain-fighting ability, but more impressively gives baking soda the capacity to absorb

nasty odors. The baking soda is used to take away and eliminate any odors in your refrigerator.

Baking Soda has been used since ancient Egyptian times, it was not until 1791 that

baking soda was produced from soda ash by a French Chemist Nicolas Leblanc. The ingredients

of sodium bicarbonate include four natural elements combined together to form a white solid
crystalline structure that makes a fine white powder. Baking soda is an alkaline compound that,

when combined with an acid, will produce carbon dioxide gas (care2.com).
