2.3.3 This device adopts frequency conversion electric machinery to drive the rotor with load
sample. It applies cone connection and which is useful for connection of rotors and rotary
shafts.
2.3.4 Rotor system is composed of various kinds of angle rotors and horizontal rotors (For
details, see Table 1: Type of rotor and technical parameter), and centrifugal tube etc. The
rotor rotates at a certain speed to create a relative centrifugal force field to separate the
samples.
As the centrifugal force is several thousand times more than g (acceleration of earth gravity),
it is important to use and maintain the rotor safely and carefully!
2.3.5 The base system is composed of the machine frame, protection steel ring, motherboard,
top cover and rubber supporting legs and so on.
2.3.6 The power supply system includes power supply jack/switch, power switch, which is
used to supply electricity.
2.3.7 The control system includes identification of the rotor code, setting of the rotary speed
and centrifugal force, running time, temperature, choice of accelerating, control of display
system and warning system of the complete machine and so on. The control system is
composed of the main control panel, checking console for speed, package board of sensors
(identification of rotors and checking of balance quality of rotors). To open the cover in front
of the device is strictly forbidden!
2.3.8 The display system is composed of the display board and PVC keyboard panel (control
panel). It is the interactive media. It can show every setting parameter synchronously, and can
track the actual change. In addition, it can display various kinds of troubles and warnings.
2.3.9 The warning system consists of over speed, electrical motor overheat, lid failure and
temperature control failure. When the troubles mentioned above occur, the system will give
an alarm. At this moment, the red warning light on the control panel glimmers, the buzzer
sounds the alarm. The machine is unable to start (starting forbidden). The machine stops
automatically, until the trouble is treated. Then the machine can be restarted. Note: you may
press “ESC” on the control panel to cancel the warning tone sounded by the buzzer.

5.2 Starting
Insert one end of the power wire into the supply socket at the bottom of the left side, the
other end connected to the independent socket for civil power supply. The voltage of supply
power applied is AC230V and frequency is 50/60Hz. After connecting, turn on the power
switch at the bottom of the left side, the buzzer chirps and the icon “Heal Force” is displayed
on display window. At the same time, self-check is carried out. When the self-check has been
completed, the main interface appears (see Fig. 7). Now is for the following operation. As the
rotor is packed inside the centrifugal cavity, please do not press “►” and “ ” when the
machine is switched on for the first time.
5.3 Opening
If the electricity is on and rotor doesn’t run, you may press “ ” (key of opening) on
the control panel to open the lid, the data display window appears “Lift lid”. Under the air
spring action, the lid will open automatically and spring to a certain height, and then it needs
to manually lift and open the lid. The inner chamber will appear in front of the user. The icon
on the main interface will show the tapered end “unlocked”. At this point, it is applicable to
take out the rotor and package if the machine is switched on for the first time.
Notice: The lid will spring to a certain height when it is opened. Therefore, heads or
other objects should not stay at the place above the lid. It is dangerous!
When the lid can’t open automatically, you may take out things inside the chamber by
hand if necessary, see “Trouble shooting”.
5.4 Closing
Press the lid down until front side lid hooks on the lid skip over the lid bolt and a ringing
sound is heard. The bottom of the lid hooks will touch travel switch. At this time, the icon on
the main interface shows that the tapered end is closed and the lid has been locked firmly.
