Accounts Executive: Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsibility for day-to-day general accounting operations and ecommerce invoice


generation
• Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate accounts payable files
• Codes such items as invoices, vouchers, check requests, etc., with correct codes conforming
to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the financial system
• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Analyse vendor outstanding balances on daily basis and help prioritize payments considering
operating agreements and business relationships
• Coordinate with third party vendors and global clients for the invoice and payment follow
ups
• Process remittance information from checks, drafts and wire transfers for invoices provided
by vendors or suppliers, reviewing instructions accompanying items to determine proper
disposition and crediting accounts in accordance with standard procedures
• Handles global clients (US & UK Preferably) correspondence via phone or email
• Performing accurate and timely monthly closing procedures and reporting to Head Quarter
in US.
• Creating weekly, monthly, quarterly reports in as per requirements for management review
• Coordinating with auditor on TDS working & quarterly returns, Advance tax & E-payment,
GST working, Bills checking & booking, banking statements etc,.
• Maintaining monthly closure of books and audit Data entry of Sales, Purchase Bills,
Payments, To Validate Supplier- Consumables payment Bills,. Filing of all transaction
vouchers \ bills \ documents properly
• Maintaining employee payroll process and other expenses bills and reports.

Required Candidate profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, B. Com/ M Com /MBA finance candidates preferred


• Excellent communication skill both verbally and written to handle clients globally (UK & US)
• Proficiency in MS Office, Tally
• Flexible to work in UK shift
