Training Project Title: Math Coordinator Professional Development Program

Background: The context of this training project involves a secondary school in Egypt aiming to enhance the
skills and effectiveness of its math coordinators. The sponsors are the school administration and the Ministry of
Education. Participants include math coordinators with varying levels of experience in teaching and curriculum
development.
Purpose of Training: The purpose of this training is to improve math coordinators' ability to design effective
math curricula, support and mentor math teachers, and utilize data analytics to improve student learning
outcomes. Additionally, the training aims to equip coordinators with modern educational strategies and
leadership skills.
Target Population: The target population includes math coordinators and aspiring leaders within the math
department, ranging from those with a few years of experience to seasoned professionals.

Audience Analysis: Audience characteristics include varying levels of experience in teaching mathematics and
curriculum coordination. Factors affecting the training strategy include the need for practical, hands-on training
methods, data-driven decision-making, and the integration of technology in math instruction. Coordinators'
busy schedules and varying levels of comfort with leadership roles also play a role.

Prerequisites: Participants should have a basic understanding of math curriculum principles and some
experience in teaching mathematics. Familiarity with the school's math curriculum and student demographics is
also required.

Course Objectives:
