Overview

The purpose of this activity is to discuss the English language and language learning.
By exploring our attitudes and ideas about English, we can think about the best way to
learn and practice it.

Directions

Discussion Questions

1. What is your overall opinion of the English language?

2. What do you like most about communicating in English? What do you dislike about
communicating in English?

3. English has become a global language. How do you feel about this development?

4. Do you think it is easier to communicate with a native speaker or a non-native

speaker? Why?

5. What do you think is most essential part of language: being understood or having
perfectly correct grammar and pronunciation? Why?
