What is Personal Health?
The ability to take charge of your health by making conscious decisions to be healthy. It is not only refers to the
physical wellness of an individual , but it is also comprises.
Five Types of Personal Health
There are 5 dimensions of Personal Health
1. PHYSICAL HEALTH- a state of well-being.
2. MENTAL HEALTH -includes our emotional psychological , and social well-being.
3. EMOTIONAL HEALTH- is about how we think and feel.
4. SPIRITUAL HEALTH- anything that relates to the health and wellness of a person’s spirit.
5. SOCIAL HEALTH- our ability to interact and form meaningful relationships with others.

Why is Personal Health important?


Being healthy, sharpens your memory and stabilizes your mood. A low-stress life can help you sleep better,
which leads you to more energy. Good mental health can also be about maintaining healthy relationships, feeling
positive about life and experiencing a sense of belongings.

How to take care of your personal health?


Here are some suggestions to better improve your health:
1. Keep up with regular health appointments, testing , screenings and vaccinations.
2. Eat healthy.
3. Get enough sleep.
4. Move more and sit rest.
5. Limit alcohol intake.
6. Avoid illegal drugs or using prescription drugs in ways other than prescribed.
