The Man, the Boy, and the Donkey

Once upon a time, there was a man who lived in a village with his son and their donkey. They were
going to the market to sell the donkey. The man and the boy walked alongside the donkey.
As they were walking, they passed by a group of people who remarked, "Look at that foolish man
and boy! They have a donkey but are walking on foot."
Hearing this, the man decided to lift his son onto the donkey's back. They continued their journey,
with the boy riding on the donkey.
Further along the road, they met another group of people who scoffed, "Look at that selfish boy! He
rides comfortably while his poor old father has to walk."
Upon hearing this criticism, the man lifted his son off the donkey and climbed onto its back
himself. Now, the man was riding while the boy walked alongside.
As they approached the market, they encountered yet another group of people who exclaimed,
"What a cruel man! He rides the donkey while making his young son walk."
Feeling confused and ashamed, the man and the boy decided to carry the donkey themselves. They
tied its legs to a pole and hoisted it up. The villagers laughed at the sight of them struggling with the
donkey.
Finally, they reached the market. But instead of being praised for their efforts, they were ridiculed
by everyone for their foolishness.
