This letter responds to your Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”) request submitted via email on
December 15, 2023.

The requested records are categorized as follows:

“As a citizen and resident of Virginia, I exercise the rights afforded me by Va. statute § 2.2-3700 et seq.
(the Freedom of Information Act), and respectfully request access to the following public records:

(1) A current roster of all sworn law enforcement employees (including auxiliary) at your agency as of
today’s date containing the following data points (or an assortment of documents in your office
sufficient to indicate the same) for each: Full legal name (Last, First, M.I., Suffix); Badge #; Rank/Title;
Assigned Unit/Division; EEO Gender (Optional); EEO Race (Optional); Date of Hire (MM/DD/YYYY);
Salary earnings for fiscal year 2023 (gross total), Overtime & bonus earnings for fiscal year 2023 (gross
total).

(2) Current organizational charts denoting agency structure.

Records that match your request are as follows:

- Existing document showing first and last names of sworn officers, badge number, rank and hire
date.
- Salary earnings for fiscal year 2023.
- Current organizational chart.

Please be advised that race and sex are exempt from disclosure under Virginia Code § 2.2-3705.1(1).

Please be advised that the cost of searching, reviewing, scanning, and supplying these documents is
THIRTY DOLLARS DOLLARS AND 72/100 ($30.72). This amount reflects the hours logged by the Town’s
personnel at their hourly rate (exclusive of benefits) for searching, reviewing, copying, and supplying
responsive records. Per Town FOIA policy, unpaid bills beyond thirty (30) days may be referred to a
collection agency or attorney.
