WHICH ONE BIGGER
WHICH ONE BIGGER
With size paradigm, Krachun et al. (2009) showing animal and human children
could determine reality from illusion. One of Krachun et al. (2009)’s results
showing correct trials number (success rate) of Reverse Contingency learning
from choosing smaller to get bigger versus choosing bigger but get smaller. Again,
first, I’m not surprise to this result; of course, animal and human children could
learn it by multiple trials. Second, I don’t think this is a strong demonstration to
show animal and human children could determine reality from illusion too. My
reason is: sometimes, there is another factor called “distance” which human
children should learn to determine reality from illusion (associated with size) by
multiple trials too, and I don’t think animal always can do that. Here is the
example: which one the real bigger?
