Backround:
Earthquakes are more often than we realize, especially in seismically active areas. It is
critical to understand how to prepare for an earthquake, what to do during one, and what
to do after one has occurred. Because earthquakes are unexpected, having an earthquake
preparedness plan ready before one occurs is critical.
There are a large number of places, whereas citizens of that community have been
affected by the earthquake and we cannot allow our society be influenced by it. This
policy was implemented for the community's and all Barangay Canlubang residents'
safety.
This report can be used as a policy of advocacy and programming tool, to strengthen the
focus on engaging citizens for earthquake safety within national laws and policy.
