According to Alberts and Papp (1997) in their paper
entitled The Information Age: An Anthology on Its Impact
and Consequences,

Information age is divided into three modern information


revolution: First Modern Information
Revolution, Second Modern Information Revolution and
Third Modern Information Revolution.
