Almighty God, for His enduring grace and unfailing love. He has kept all our parents, pupils and
students, even the management and staff in good health and sound mind, indeed God is good.
REVIEW OF THIS SESSION’S ACTIVITIES.
Children’s Day Celebration: Children came up Friday, 24th of May, 2024 where we witnessed
March past competition, Football Match, Handball and many other fun-filled activities to
celebrate the children on their day.
BECE Examination: The Junior WAEC was conducted from the first day of the month of July
to the 6th of the month and it was nothing less than success.
PROJECTED ACTIVITIES FOR NEXT TIME.
DGPC Entrance Examination: The Diadem Golden Pearl College has slated her entrance
examination into JSS 1 for Saturday, 3rd of August and Saturday, 30th of August, 2024: 9AM
prompt. More so, the payment for the 2024/25 commences as soon as the school activities for
2024/25 academic session resume.
The Summer Activities: This will be coming up from the 5 th of August down to the 29th of
August, 2024 and this will be for 4 days a week (Monday – Thursday)
SS3 Lesson: The SS3 students will resume lesson and not SUMMER class on Monday 5 th of
August for preparation towards their WAEC class. This is to build them up in preparation for
their WAEC comes 2025.
Christmas Party: This will be coming up in December towards the end of the term and of
course the end of the year.
MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION.
SCHOOL FEE: We appreciate all our efforts in school fee payment especially those of us who
have completely cleared their wards bills. However, we should take note that we are to pay 70%
percent of our wards’ fees at the point of resumption. Please let’s work toward this so we can
have a smooth flow of academic activities that is devoid of any interruption.
PUNCTUALITY
Punctuality they say, is the sole of business. We are using this medium to appeal to us to
please make our children and ward to be punctual and regular at school. This will enhance the
teaching – learning process of the child. Daily school resumption time is 7.30am.
DRESSING CODE
 It is said that alteration in dressing code is indecent dressing. Therefore, as our standard
and quality assurance for education, pupils/students are expected to turn out to school well-
dressed at all times. Below is our dressing code for both primary and secondary schools.
PRIMARY SCHOOL
The management as decided as a matter of uniformity, that henceforth, the usual Friday wears
which is native (Ankara) will no more be used. Native wears go out of stock which has made the
school to have different shade of native wears on Fridays. Therefore, the management has
decided to come up with another regular shirt which will be worn with the usual Monday and
Tuesday short and this will be, henceforth, Thursday wear, thus, the Thursday wear has now
become the Friday wear.
Mode of getting/buying the shirt will be communicated to you.
SECONDARY SCHOOL
MONDAY and TUESDAY: Regular school uniform with black shoe and white socks.
WEDNESDAY: Wednesday wear with black skirt for girls and black trousers for boys
THURSDAY: white shirt for girls and boys; ankara skirt for girls and black
trousers for boys.
FRIDAY: Sport wears with white canvas and white socks
The school management will not welcome any alteration of the above. Thanks for complying.
FRUIT DAY;
We want to urge us to please comply with our Mondays and Wednesday’s fruit day. This will
continue to help our children stay healthy and happy throughout the term.
Admission:
Admission into playgroup, reception, nursery, Primary and secondary classes is ongoing. We
invite you to register your wards. There’s no doubt that DGPS is the school for your child. Please
tell your friends, relations and neighbors about us.
