Abbreviations:
st – stitch;
ch – chain;
sc – single crochet;
inc – increase (crochet 2 stitches in one stitch);
dec – decrease (crochet 2 stitches together);
sl st – slip stitch;
dc – double crochet;
BLO – work through the back loop only.
(sc, in)... times – repeat instructions in parenthesis the indicated number of times.
The height of the finished giraffe is approx. 27 cm, the length is approx. 16
cm.
Crochet the 7 and 8 rows for the back loops only (BLO) to get an even changing of the

Fold the edges of the body in the center. Begin sewing the opening moving from the
withers. Stuff the body in the course of sewing. Leave 40 stitches not sewn – the opening
for the neck.
TAIL
Main color
1 rnd: 6 sc in the magic ring (6)
2-7 rnds: 6 rows – 1 sc in each st around (6)
Leave a thread enough for sewing. Bring the thread to the opposite side of the tail, put a
little stuffing inside.
Attach the brown stitches to the front and back loops of the last row. Sew the tail. Cut an
extra length
HORNS:
Brown color
1 rnd: in the magic ring: ch 3, 12 dc, sl st in the first stitch (12)
2 rnd: 3 ch, (2 dc, 2 dc in 1 st) х 3, sl st in the first stitch (9)
Sew the head to the body. Use a knitting needle for the convenience.

Comb the mane with a metal brush or a comb and once more trim the ends
Sew the ears and horns. Embroider the nostrils in the 5th row.
