Wildflower is a simple headband, very quick to knit, which can be finished in an

afternoon using just 10 grams of cotton. Although I suggest a specific cotton yarn and
needle size in the pattern, I encourage you to experiment with different weights and
qualities.

We start knitting from just before the middle of the headband, continuing until
finishing the I-cord on one side. Then we pick up stitches and knit the other end, aiming
for the highest possible symmetry without complicating it.

Material:

3’5 mm needles.
Stitch markers.
Yarn: 32mts fingering cotton, Drops Safran used at the sample (50 gr - 160 mts)

Measures:

Gauge: 10 cm x10 cm = 21 stitch x 28 rows

Width x Length: 7.5 cm x 29 cm plus 23 cm of I-cord on each side.

cdd = centered double decrease
M1L = make one left (lift the bar between stitches from back to front and knit into the
front of the loop)
M1R = make one right (lift the bar between stitches from front to back and knit into the

We cast on 17 stitches using the backwards loops cast-on method.

From here, we follow the chart instructions. Once row 58 is knitted, we knit an I-cord until
it measures 23 cm.

We then pick up and knit 17 stitches from the beginning to knit in the opposite direction,
and resume following the chart instructions from row 29.
