Motivation. Class Activity: Made Up of the Philippines

1. The teacher will ask a question about what makes up the Philippines as a country?
2. Then, the teacher will call random students to answer the question.

The possible response of the students would be

C. Analysis- Jumbled Letters


1. The class will divide into two groups each group will arrange the letters.
2. Then, coin the two words and give what will be the synonym of the words.

D. Abstraction. Proper Discussion

1. The teacher will conduct an interactive discussion about the states and nation through a power point presentation.
2. The teacher will present the topic about the definitions and differences of states and nation.

3. During the discussion the teacher will have “Give me a number” activity to test if the students are really listening to the
discussion.

Guide questions: Which do you think between a nation and a state is cultural? Political? Functional? Legal?
Psychological and why?
