II. Session Outline
Session Title: “ Concept of Peace and Its Importance in Our Daily Lives”
Session Students will understand the concept of peace and its importance in our daily lives.
Objectives: Students will be able to identify and explain the Principles of Peace.
Students will engage in discussions and activities promoting peace and harmony.
Key Concepts:  Promoting Peace and Harmony in the Community.

III. Teaching Strategies

Begin by discussing with students what peace means to
them and why it is important.
Introduction and

Warm-Up
Introduce the Principles of Peace (e.g., kindness,
empathy, cooperation, respect).
 Read a selected picture book or short story about peace
aloud to the class.

Concept

Exploration
 Lead a discussion on the story's message and how the
characters demonstrate the Principles of Peace.

 Divide students into small groups and provide them with


index cards.
 Ask each group to choose a Principle of Peace and
brainstorm ways to practice it in their daily lives.
Valuing 15 mins
 Have each group share their ideas with the class and
create a class chart of actions for promoting peace.

 Engage students in a peace-themed craft activity, such as


creating peace doves or a peace mural.
 Encourage students to reflect on how they can contribute
