Topic 1: Talk about your friend.

I have a friend, his name’s Dũng, but everybody alway call him Hai. He was 23
years old. He is a dance teacher for many studens. His hometown is HCM city. We
play in the same group and our group is all passionate about music. Everybody think
him so handsome, he’s tall, has a well-proportioned body and is quite muscular. He
is a great big brother, alway hepling everyone, supporting his younger brothers to
the fullest. He and I have a lot in common, especially we both go to empty places
when we’re in a bad mood. Likewise, we also have many contrasts and one of them
is that we live in two different worlds. We often drink together, dance, sing and
sometimes sit and talk together. Of course when we encounter difficulties, we will
share them with each other, but depending on the situation, if we can solve the
problem ourselves, we will choose not to talk about it. Like everyone in the group,
he is always comefortable when having fun but very serious when working, which is
what I admire most about him.

Topic 2: Talk about your musical taste.

I bet that in this world there is no one who doesn’t like music. Especially me, I have
a huge passion for music. I alwayss listen to music, in my free time, working,
relaxing, playing games, exercising and when I’m sad. I can listen to music
anywhere, at my home or in public places if I have headphones with me. I like many
different genres of music and I listen to them at different times, including 2 genres
of music that I listen to very often, which are rap music when I have free time and
bolero music when my grandmother sings karaoke. There are two music websites
that I really love, it’s Spotify and Soundcloud. Because those websites have many
different genres of music and I always find my favorite music on those websites.
Even though I’m very passionate about music, I rarely go to live concerts, just
because I don’t have enough money to buy entrance tickets.

Topic 3: Talk about your family.

My family has three people, including my grandmonther, my father and me. My

grandmother is a housewife, my father is an architect and he always works away
from home so I rarely get to see him. My grandmother’s name is Nguyen Thi Lan
and my father’s name is Tran Thu Loi. I am the only child in my family, I have no
brother, sisters or younger siblings. My grandmother was born in 1957, currently 66
years old, my father was born in 1981, currently 42 years old. One thing I have to
admit is that my family members have very good looks, which is why they gave
birth to a handsome son like me. Hmm, to say the least, in my family I love
everyone equally, but the only person who can make me obey is my grandmother.
Very rarely do I have the opportunity to do something with everyone in my family,
maybe eat dinner together. That’s the only thing I can think of right now.

Topic 4: Talk about your favorite restaurant.
I know a very delicious restaurant called Neo Shabu Suki. It is at 23 Phan Trung,
Bien Hoa city. I usually go there by motorbike and it only takes 15 minutes from my
house. Neo Shabu Siki is decorated in a Japanese style, both minimalist and
luxurious and I absolutely love the decoration here. The menu is quite diverse,
especially delicious and attractive hot pot dishes. I quite like the roasted duck rice
here and it would be great to drink with coke. The staff here are very enthusiastic,
always ready to assist if you need. As for the price, I don’t think it’s too high,
enough for students to come in and enjoy. I rarely go to Neo because I don’t have
much time. If I do go, I go with my family. I really like the service and food at Neo,
but I haven’t thought about what I don’t like.
