Hi,

i would like share document for how to create report by using SQVI. I know Some of
consultants aware about this. I am sharing this for who don't have any idea about SQVI
Query.

Transaction Code : SQVI (Quick Viewer)

enter name in place of quick view and click on create.

enter Title like description and select data source table join
 You can select basis mode or layout mode and enter

Click on insert Table (shift+F1)

enter table name , example EKKO and enter

Again click on table and enter table which should be link to previous table. Example in EKKO Po number it is
linked to EKPO PO number.

We can take n number of tables which should linked to previous entered table.
Once completed all table linking then click on back button

Now extract the table which is showing left side

Here two rows showing 1) list fields 2) selection fields

selection fields means in selection screen what fields required , these fields are display in
input selection screen

list fields means out put format.

Example i am selecting purchase document number, document date and material number as
input fields.
and out put filed as material number, vendor number,PO number, item number, Po amount,
Po qty, delivery date and scheduling qty, quantity of goods received, issued qty, PR number,
PR item number .

If you want one filed as input and out put select both. If you want in only input screen then
select only selection fields, if you want as out put select only list fields. For example see
below screen

Once selection is completed, please save it.

Click on enter
Now execute (F8)

Execute (F8)

After lot of comments and suggestions, i am adding little more use full to other users.

First thanks to our greatest Lion Jurgen :smile: for sharing the below documents. Lot of users
they asking queries how we can see SQVI maintained report in other user. I am only R&D on
SQVI, may be this is reason i am not found proper result. But Jurgen provided beautiful link,
We can see now other user sqvi reports in our system.

Are you certain you uploaded the screenshots? Pasting does not work properly.

When I look at the image name it is always saying pastedimage

in case this problem is with upoad then you should report a bug
in http://scn.sap.com/community/support/scn-bug-reporting

one thing i want to know that, if there are 2 user id's (SAP_MM & SAP_SD).

i have created query using user id SAP_MM after that i have logged in with SAP_SD user id,
but Query not showing there.

kindly share that above mentioned case is possible or not.

you have to note program name after that SE93 will hlp you for tcode...

Jürgen is 100% correct in saying that via SQVI you can access other persons quick view.

Follow his guide and try it out. I know it works because I'm using the function.

Sorry for delay. SQVI report it will displayed in where and which user id based you created.

I have two queries:

Firstly, is there any way where we can define the type of join , whether Union, Intersection or
so ?

Secondly, whats the difference between List Fields and Selection fields?

Listed Fields: means these fields will be visible in your Output

Selected Fields: these fields will be visible for selection when you are inputting the data.

Request you to do more practice--so you can clarify on yourself.

Hi ,

Actually , I tried joining these two tables as LFA1 and LFB1.

however, only the selected fields from the first table are getting displayed , but no data is
being fetched from the second table.

Can the join condition be changed ?

If yes , then how?

Can u pls guide me on this?

Once you are taking these two tables LIFNR will be the link between these two Tables.

I did table join for EKKO and EKPO but in the output I only see one line item per purchase
order.

How Can i see all line itemes/PO in output ?

You'd probably be better off posting this as a discussion rather than a comment on a
document. And you should show some screen prints of your SQVI, so people can have an
idea of what the problem might be.
