Biography of Hazrat Khaja Maqdoum Hussain Chisti

Hazrat Khaja Maqdoum Hussain Chisti Naguri and he was son


of Harat Khalid Chisti and he was grandson of Hazrat Sultan
Tarkin Sufi Hameed Uddn Narguri in the six geneology record.
He was born in the year 1390 Hijri in Nagore in Rajisthan.
He was a great holy person, and he was perfect in the Shariat
(Islamic law) and mystic way and in his divination and
research. Since his childhood he had a great fondness for
learning the knowledge of the manifest and innermost. He was
migrating from Nagore to Gujrat and Ahmedabad. And he has
spent many years in the presence of Shaik Kabir in this matter
and at that time he did not disclose his geneology record. And he
has kept his condition hidden from all people. He was always
alert in the service of the Shaik Kabir. And he was used to
being engaged in in mystical exercise work. As such he was
benefitted there by knowledge of the manifest and innermost.
When he reached the position of perfection and caliphate the
shaikh of time accorded him permission to go to his native
place. And at that time he was presented in the presence of his
spiritual master and teacher all his sermons and his spiritual
master thanked Allah that all these things had been reached by a
deserving person.
After coming back from Ahmedabad, he lived at the grave of
Hazrat Khaja Mouunddin Chisti in Ajmare for many years there.
And he was engaged in the worship of Allah. There was jungle
around all four sides of the grave of Khaja Moinuddin Chisti.
And at that time there was no tomb on the grave of Khaja
Ajmari . He was the first person, Hazrat Maqdum Hussain Chisti
Nagori, who built a tomb over the grave of Khaja Ajmari in
Ajmare. Upon the indication of Khaja Sahib, he left Ajmare and
went to Nagore. And he started to teach the Islamic religion.
And he was engaged to teach the people of belief.
He had written one book of the Excegis of the Quran. And its
name was ‘Tafsir Noor al-Nabi’. And in which he wrote each
part of the holy book of the Quran separately. And made volume
of each part. In this book, there was such method of addition of
the Quran’s such meanings, which are found in other books of
the Excegis of the Quran and he has mentioned in details in easy
language. He was a Hafiz (Quran-conner) means a Muslim who
memorized the whole Quran as well as Qari (Qāri', or "reader",
is a person who recites the Qur'an with the proper rules of
recitation.) of the Quran. And he was perfect in his knowledge
of Qirat (recitation of the holy Quran).
He left this mortal world on the 13th Muherram of the year, at
the age of 108 years, in Nagore, Rajasthan. And his grave is
situated at the foot side of his ancestor, Khaja Sultan Tarkin
Khaja Sufi Hameed Uddin Nagori.
Urs (death anniversary).
People from various walks of life, irrespective of caste and
creed, assemble to celebrate the Urs (death anniversary), which
takes place on the 13th Muharam of the Muslim calendar at the
famous dargah (shrine) Khaja of the Hameeduddin Nagori in
Nagori every year. Several hundred thousand devotees from
near and far, irrespective of religion and beliefs, gather there to
seek blessings.
