When I return to my country, I hope to start my own charity which will be concerned with
people, facing difficult conditions, thus supporting those people to overcome their circumstances
and exploit their potentials for the sake of the whole society.
Thanks to the multi-cultural society, I will live in, I will be able to share with people my
concepts of acceptance and harmony among my society members.
In addition, inspiring other people to pursue their studies in the BRUNEI is one of my main
targets after completing my study in the BRUNEI, this will happen via transferring what I have
gained in BRUNEI Darussalam. Besides, the tremendous experience I will acquire culturally and
socially from the time spent getting to know BRUNEI‘s culture and traditions.
However, through my network with influencers from all over the world, I will be able to promote
my leadership and networking capacities with a tremendous personal and emotional growth.
Getting the opportunity to expand my knowledge and broadening my horizons, I will be able to
establish a breakthrough in drug manufacture, and leave my finger print in life by designing
drugs according to genetic variations thus increasing drug efficacy and optimizing dosages.
Although, my past experience in nursing homes or dealing with mental retarded children was
crucial individually and professionally, it inspired me to set up an organization which won't only
provide their needs but will engage them into social activities.
Being able to return the favour to my community will give me feelings of relief and satisfaction
about my life.
I have a crystal clear idea of who health care providing should be, and I want to share those
Ideas in order to implicate them and eradicate any misconception about pharmacist, and the
critical role being in the front line of health care.
Besides, having the privilege to join a prestigious university, will enable me to start up my own
business with the help of technology transfer and entrepreneurship teaching and learning
opportunities.
Being indulged with top-quality education and world-leading research define my career options
rather in academia, research or industry.
6. APPLICANT’S STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

I don’t remember a time when I had no curiosity about how drugs interfere with pathological
conditions and what genes have to do with that. My curiosity extended far behind during high
school.
When I have learned about chromosomes and x-linked diseases. I was fascinated by the role of
single chromosome(x) in not just defining the sex, as the physical condition as many diseases are
carried on this chromosome. The way genes functioned together in harmony inspired me about
team work and how to be more dedicated to my goals. Although it was a thought of a pharmacist
to be a drug seller.
I was determined to change that wrong perception and satisfy my curiosity more.
During my bachelor life, I was indulged with more genetic master piece, as gene’s function is
altered in plants to modify their resistance to pests and boost their nutritional content.
In biotechnology course the transcription process came to life when we extracted DNA from
fruits using simple tools, This process aim I much more than visualizing some theoretical data,
but its aim to believe that anything could be done no matter how hard or sophisticated it seemed.
I have advantaged tremendously from my past studies and my frequent reading of scientific
journals like pharmaceutical journal and springers in my work place.as I have confronted a patient
with his new born daughters health condition shown in a genetic map when he suspected her to
have down syndrome, also I have mentored another to her daughters rare genetic disorder.
Being subjected to those experiences upgraded my communicating ability and made me more
patient and understanding.
Furthermore I have shown some trainee how the appropriate interactions to do in some critical
situations and encouraged them to take part in decision making, this cultivated my leadership
capacities and promoted my critical thinking and my way of solving problems.
Brunei would be a great environment to let my curiosity drive and thrive an orientated research,
whereas it will give me the privilege to explore my research interest.
Also it will be a great chance to develop my linguistic and academic skills as workshops are held
to give a better understanding of writing and presenting researches with the availability of
instructors to guide and edit manuscripts.
Moreover, the availability of professional expert staff whose mission is to take my career to the
next stage, to guide me to improve my proffessional skills, to understand my point of strength and
weakness, and to take assement.
With the continous help and support , I will be able to acquire the ability of pesonal marketing as
how to write a successful CV and a cover letter along with with career strategies ,and the best
way to effictively utilize social media like linkedin.
However I will be able to satisfy my thirst to literature when I attend events and assoication held
by college concil.
Brunei has been a great home of innovation to flourish, as it provides a multiculural rich life with
various opportunities to expand my networking circle and my social capicities.
What will life be without goals? It will be hollow, empty and meaningless, yet it will be the
perfect destination to fulfill my aspirations.

And demonstrated a huge presenting ability, she had shown a great resilience to
undergo her ILETS test on her own and in a short period of time.

As a professor of molecular biology & biotechnology, I found Mona to be careful,
inquisitive, and incredibly sharp. She spent a lot of time in addition to her studies
preparing her graduation project on "Pharmacogensis Fact or Fiction'' and her grade
 was excellent Besides being a joy to work with her, Mons is a take-charge person who is
able to present creative ideas and communicate the benefits. As a student, Mona scores
were at the top of the class, being one of only a handful of my students that receive
accumulative grade "Excellent". She is a reserved, sober young woman who shows
marked maturity in her single-minded dedication to her studies. I’m sure that you will
find, as I have, that her quiet, persistent intellect speaks volumes for her drive to be a
gifted pharmacist and a talented researcher.
