IELTS Suspension Notification
IELTS Suspension Notification
I just got this about my IELTS exam. Is there another test I can take thats online ? and also how necessary is
IELTS for this visa when I have both a foundation studies and bachelors completed in AUS ?
By now you will be aware that the Premier of Victoria has declared a State of Disaster and announced Stage 4
restrictions for metropolitan Melbourne. These restrictions will be in place for a minimum of six weeks. To protect
the health of IELTS test takers in light of COVID-19, IELTS tests have been suspended at Australian Institute of
Language from tomorrow, 5th August 2020. This decision has not been taken lightly and we will continue to
monitor the COVID-19 situation and state government advice over the next few weeks.
At this stage, we would like to transfer your General Training IELTS test from 12/08/2020 to 23/09/2020, Sitting 2
(Sitting 1: Morning | Sitting 2: Afternoon | Sitting 3: Evening). We will try our best to keep your speaking test time
as your current scheduled time slot. However, we cannot guarantee if this is the case.
Please reply this email to confirm the transfer arrangement as mentioned above. Once we receive your
confirmation, transfer will be arranged and the booking confirmation will be sent out with the new test
arrangement.
Please note due to the increasing number of enquiries, there might be delay in phone or email support; however,
we will try our best to get back to you as soon as we can.
Please take care to look after your health at this time by following the latest advice, available
here: https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019
Should you have any further enquiry, please feel free to contact us via this email.
