CRITICAL TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT REGISTER

Critical tools / equipment includes but is not limited to the following:

• Lifting equipment and machinery, e.g. Slings, Shackles, Cranes, Hiab cranes, Bosuns chair, Chain blocks, Forklifts, ladders.
• All pneumatic and electrical hand tools, e.g. Drill machines, Angle grinders, hydraulic press and jacks.
• Hilti guns, electrical testing equipment and instruments.
• Fall arrest equipment.
• Scaffolding / Platforms.
• Cherry picker, scissor lift, man work boxes.
• Prohibition: 9-inch (230 mm) angle grinders have been banned at Mutanda due to the increased risk of injury. The increased power and size of the unit will cause more severe
kickback and gyroscopic effects (i.e., makes the grinder difficult to manoeuvre).
