REFLECTION ON LAC SESSIONS

The LAC Sessions being conducted by the school can be considered good refresher to us
teachers, who were already in the service for almost 20 years. I am very grateful we had this kind
of LAC Sessions since it gave us additional knowledge and insights on how to prepare and
support our portfolio for RPMS, especially when we are in a post-pandemic time.

First, it made me realize how important the RPMS tool is for upgrading our knowledge
and skills as a teacher. Being a teacher in this post pandemic time is not easy, especially in
reaching out to our students. We are still on a recovering period and a lot of adjustments has
made in order to give what every learner needs.

Second, we need this for our professional growth. Honestly, The RPMS will serve as a
tool for promotion; we will not be promoted unless we reach the qualification standard for a
higher position.

Lastly, we must apply what we have learned in every LAC session that we have
conducted for us to become effective and efficient teachers. We must also apply appropriate
teaching strategies such as differentiated instructions that are suited to our learners' needs.
