design concept The two main concepts are the use of the colour theme from each film on each of the covers. The colour themes run consistently and prominently through out the whole range of design, almost like a code. The second concept is the use of drop shadow to subtly represent the film title in Spanish as the director is Mexican and many of his films are in Spanish.
