II. CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT

 The school head and teaching force with the help of parents, Pulong Bahay
Elementary School created different remediation technique, practices, and
instructional materials to develop the pupils development.
 WAP-Rehab Waiting Area for the Parents-Reading Habits continue to
serve the pupils with reading difficulties.
 Reading Exhibit consist of different reading materials from
Kindergarten to Grade VI where the pupils go to. It will be pupils’
tambayan where they can read in their break time.
 PROJECT HEART Home Engagement And Reading Time conducted
in order to facilitate the learners in reading while they were in their
home with the help of their parents.
 PBES also utilize MARUNGKO Approach which is designed to
equip beginning readers necessary skills to improve reading.
 Word in a bottle- For Grades 1- 3. Each bottle contains cvc letters,the
pupils will form or create CVC words out from the letters they got
from the bottles.
 Reading OWL – Reading Opportunities With Learning .This practice
develops comprehension skills of Grade VI pupils. Story books are provided
with guided questions to answer by the pupils using the image of an owl.
Pupils scores are recorded to the Owl’s image with parents and teachers
signature. The pupils are task to read and answer 5 sets of stories with perfect
score to complete the image of an owl.
 PULONG BAHAY E/S celebrates National Reading Month with
the theme PAGBASA: Pag-asa sa Matatag na Kinabukasan.
 PULONG BAHAY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL join in DISTRICT
READING EVALUATION on NOVEMBER 30,2023.

 Teachers attended different trainings and seminars.

IV. Physical Facilities

 Improved the Reading Corners in each classroom.
 The school continue the reading program using WAP-Rehab Center.
