General Instructions /Guidance for Teachers

1. Report to duty on time and record the exact time of arrival and departure in the Staff
Attendance Register along with thumb impression on every working day. Don’t try to
manipulate the timings.
2. Physical punishment is not allowed otherwise any action can be taken.
3. Behave with dignity with the students/ colleagues / parents as expected from a teacher.
4. Perform the House duties and other additional duties, as assigned sincerely & carefully and
with utmost sense of responsibility, co-operation and co-ordination.
5. Consult the Principal if there is any difficulty or problem regarding syllabus/ teaching.
6. Assign the homework regularly, check and evaluate carefully of all the class. Checking must be
done with in 3 days.
7. Be present in the morning assembly hall and observe, instruct and help the students to
maintain proper discipline and to participate actively in the morning assembly hour. In case of
any problem, take prior permission from office.
8. Check the hygiene and uniform of the students of your class and record the uniform-
defaulters regularly in first-period & inform in office.
9. Unit test copies / Exam copies should not be given to students for home. Parents should come
on P.T.M (10th of every month) and see their child’s Exam copies if required.
10. Teacher’s will take the dictation on every Monday in Eng & Hindi in concerned period.
11. Teacher’s are instructed to show the dictation copies of students to their Parent’s on every PTM.
12. Teacher’s will take-over any exam copies/ Specimens/ or any material related to class with
counting from other teacher( in case of emergency) .On missing of anything , take over
teacher will be held responsible & no excuse will be listen.
13. Teacher’s Diary should be filled daily in which total work done should be written grade wise
and period wise after off time and it should be kept in principal’s office.
14. If any duty is assigned to teacher’s they have to full fill it with dedication and devotion.
15. Criterion for promotion is 40% aggregate of all classes. M/L is to be submitted by the students
if absent in any exam.
16. Don’t mark important question or disclose the examination paper to any student.
Diaries of all students must be maintained neat & clean throughout the session. Every class
teacher will be held responsible for this.
17. Cellophane sheet should be used to cover school books/ note books by the students. Don’t
check outside copies.
18. Teachers are advised to make UT papers with black pen only. Revision before exams needs
serious attention for all classes.
19. Keys must be kept carefully with you of your personal wooden box. On missing of keys
teachers must bear the cost of new lock.
20. Use of Mobile phones is strictly prohibited in School premises. If find so, absent will be
marked on that particular day. Submit it in office if you carry it.
21. Pay proper attention while checking text copies of the students. Don’t only round the
mistakes but also rectify them with red pen.
22. Teachers are instructed to sit in staff- room only in their free periods. Don’t give excuses if
found anywhere else. Don’t interchange your period without office permission
23. Teachers are not allowed to sit in class for first 15 min. in every period.
24. Inform in office about regular absent students & take proper follow-up with parents.
25. Checking must be done within 3 days after completing every chapter .
26. Teacher’s will take lunch separately where they are having their next period after lunch.
27. Show your teacher’s diary on last working day of every week. Student’s attendance register
is to be showed on last working day of every month.

DICTATION

1. Dictation copies from class U.K.G to 5th will be collected in school on 1st day.
2. Dictation words ( Hindi / Eng) should be marked on Saturday & dictation will be taken
according to the time table. If the school is off on that day , this is understood to take
the dictation on very next day.
3. Students will return back the dictation copies on the very next day to take the signature
of parents on marks .
4. Dictation words for U.K.G (chapter or anywhere) & for Class I to V from difficult words
(10 words ) of each lesson.
5. While taking dictation , teachers must be strict for any cheating in class.
6. Full marks must be deducted for even a single mistake per word.
7. Wrong words should be practiced at least 2 times by the students.

CLASS - TEST

1. Class Test has to be taken after finishing every chapter from Class 1 st to 8th & record
must be maintained in Teachers diary.
2. Maximum marks for class test is 10 or as per the view of subject teacher.
3. Class test will be taken in test copies only. Teachers must be strict if students are not
carrying their test copies.
4. Students must submit all their test copies in school. Instructions must be clear by every
teacher.

CORRECTIONS + COVERING IN BOOKS & COPIES

1. Proper Checking of books and copies must be done of all classes Play to 8 th. There
should be no chances of mistakes .If found, written explanation will be taken by
concerned teacher.
2. After checking every lesson, sign of teacher with date is must. Teachers are not
supposed to hold the checking more than 1 chapter in any subject.
3. Teachers must do their checking work in their stay back timing or in free periods.
4. Teachers have to write everything relating chapters on the blackboard till class V.
5. All books & copies must be covered with transparent sheet. Teachers should give in
written diary if copies are not covered by any student with name slip.
6. Students details ( Name , Class, Sub etc. ) should be written on books and copies.
7. If any copy is uncovered or without name, teacher will be held responsible for this
cause. She has to be strict initially in the starting of the session.
 COPY WORK PATTERN CLASS U.K.G TO 8th

1. Date must be put on the left side of the page margin. C.W / H.W on the top right side
of the margin. Chapter no. is in first line & Chapter name always must be put in the
second line.
2. Answers should be short, correct and to the point. Before giving any written work in
copies, it must crossed checked by Co-coordinator.
3. Difficult words, Word-meaning, make –sentences , Q/A will be mainly done in text-
copies. Any other work may also be given if necessary after consulting in office or by
Co-ordinator.
4. For classes 6th to 8th , exercises can be marked in books and same may be given for
H.W.
5. First letter including proper nouns must be start in capital letter. Teacher must be
having proper knowledge about proper nouns. If confusion ,can consult the same with
Co-ordinator.
6. Always use cursive writing pattern from class U.K.G .Teachers are advised to write in
cursive on black- board so that students can also try to write in cursive.
7. Work must be done by the students in good hand-writing. Teachers will maintain a
record of poor-handwriting students and submit the names in office in starting of the
session.
8. Good, V.good, Excellent etc. remarks must be given by the teacher regularly to
motivate the students.
9. Numbering on W/ M , Difficult words, Q/Ans etc. must mention .Scale must be used
to make partition in W/M and differentiate etc. in students copies.
10. If possible, students can make a partition of single line or double line after finishing
every answer with black or blue pen that makes their copies attractive.
11. Any other views / ideas of teachers may be entertained in this regard.
12. It is expected to follow all the guidelines by the teachers after reading it.

EXAM RELATED GUIDELINES FOR TEACHERS
SESSION 2024 - 25
1. Sub Marks distribution :- U.T I & II CLASS 1 - 8

Main subjects - 30 marks written + No Oral

Minor sub ( G.K,Comp, Sanskrit ) = 15 marks. ( No oral )

NUR – U.K.G = 30 Marks ( 20 Written + 10 Oral )

Half - Yearly & Annual Exam : CLASS 1 - 8

Main subjects - Q.P 60 marks written + 10 marks Oral

Minor sub ( G.K, Comp., Sanskrit ) = Q.P 25 marks. Wr. + 10 Marks oral

NUR – U.K.G = 50 Marks Written + 20 Oral

2. Exam Timing :- U.T ( I & II )

Main Sub : Class 1 - 8 = 80 Min ( 2 Period )

Minor Sub: Class 1 - 8 = 40 Min ( 1 Period )

3. Exam Timing :- Half - Yearly & Annual exam

Main Sub : Class 1 - 5 = 2.30 Hrs

Class 6 - 8 = 3.00 Hrs

Minor Sub – Class 1 - 8 = 1.15 Hrs

4. From Class 3 – 8 All U.T I & II Papers will be made manually ( by hand ) on Header sheets.
Only Class I & 2 Q.P of Worksheet pattern will be typed. All Half yearly & Annual papers will be
made on Ruled sheets and Q.P will be typed. Only Sankrit QP will be made by hand.

5. Drawing exam will be conducted in Half yearly & Annual exam only.

6. From Class NUR - UKG , all Q.P will be typed by the class- teachers.

7. One or two week revision is compulsory in every class before starting of any exams

8. Criteria of passing is 40 % of total marks in every subject.

9. If any student is absent due to illness or any other reason , Medical Certificate must be submitted

for the same .If any parent’s are not able to submit M/L certificate , written application must be

provided in school. Minimum passing marks will be given to such students without rank.
10. The examination incharge need to inform about the requirement related to exam copies, Graph,

Drawing sheets, Maps, etc before every exam. Date- Sheet & Sitting –Plan, Filing of Q.P with

perfect counting , providing teachers copy is also to managed by the examination incharge.

11. After giving exam duty , invigilator must be mention the no. of copies on the bundle before

Handing over to the concerned subject teacher daily.

12. Teachers are instructed to design papers according to the format only. Total Marks must be

checked before submitting the papers in neat & clean handwriting

13. The teachers who are capable can submit the QP in typing format .

14. Any rule can be edited as per the requirement in future.
