Like you, I receive many letters in the mail that reminds me of the need to make a year end charitable

gift. These letters all come from legitimate ministries and institutions and certainly are worthy of my attention. Unlike these ministries, the church does not send out letters but does need year end gifts. Some find it easier to give their tithe at the end of the year for the whole year, December is the time to do so. Some have made pledges to our building fund and are asking, Is now the time to give? The answer is Yes. God has blessed us in these turbulent financial times and we need to honor our pledges to Him. Next Wednesday evening, December 14, will be our regular quarterly conference. As I stated last week this will be an important meeting because we will be reviewing and voting on the budget for the coming year and discussing some cost saving changes. The meeting will be held in the Sanctuary at 7 PM. I cannot close without mentioning what a blessing last Sunday evening was to all who attended. The presentation of A Night in Bethlehem by our youth was inspirational and entertaining. Thank You to all the youth, adult leadership, and others who made this worship experience so meaningful. We have an awesome group of youth and I am very appreciative of each one. This Sunday evening we will be blessed with our Adult Christmas presentation. I encourage you to be here for that and for our Sunday School and Morning Worship. I look forward to seeing you then.
