01 Equipment working

The systems operate as described below:

The system operates from start to finish with minimal need for parameter changes or
operator intervention. The system contains respective operating parameters. The operator
interface shall allow the operator to set the intended spray rates, drum speed, inlet, bed
and outlet temperature all of which can easily be calibrated.

The coating pan should allow control of the following parameters: pan speed, coating
distribution, spray droplet size, spray and flow rates, drying air flow rate and
temperature as well product exhaust temperature.

02 Coating pan

SS 316 semi ellipsoidal size pan with a circular mouth for charging &
discharging of tablets Pan mounted at an inclination of 45 degrees to the
horizontal.

The coating pan must have effective baffles to allow proper mixing of bulk tablets during
coating . The pan must be fitted with a RETRACTABLE ARM FOR SPRAY ASSEMBLY
which is an angle adjustable device for spray/dosing header.

03 Drive Assembly

Consists of a suitable HP 3 Phase, 440 V, and 1440-RPM Standard motor

with suitable worm reduction gearbox and cone pulley arrangement to
give three- speed output.

03 Mixing Tank

Non-pressurized solution feed vessel of 10 ltrs capacity in Stainless steel 316 Quality with
stainless steel top lid and pneumatically operated Agitator mounted on lid (Oscillating
type).

04 Spray guns

The pan must be fitted with port type guns for the following functions:

1) Coating suspension
2) Operating air
3) Atomizing air

05 Peristaltic pump

Peristaltic Pump for product dosing with suitable tubing (Food grade silicon rubber).
Pump rate to be commensurate to the spray rate.

06 Hot Air Blower

The unit is provided with a hot air blower consisting of suitable HP 3 Phase 440 V, 2880-RPM
Standard Make electric motor & centrifugal blower with damper delivering required CFM. The air
is heated by means of suitable electric heater to give air at 30 to 90 degrees Heater with thermostat
control and flexible hose pipe

07 Filters

The coating pan must be fitted with both primary and secondary filters with a lifespan of at
least one year for both inlet air and exhaust. The in-line heaters for raising temperature from 30
to 85degrees Celsius must be placed between the primary and secondary filters for the inlet air.

A dedicated AHU installed bellow and inside the structure frame if it is required. The AHU to
have primary, secondary and HEPA filters. Each filter bank to have electronic differential
transmitters and monitored through the HMI, and the transmitter for the HEPA filter to be
interlocked to machine and thus stopping the machine incase the pressure differentials exceeds
the action limit. Air flow sensor to be installed in the air inlet duct (at extra cost) and should be
monitored through the HMI

08 Control Panel

Unit provided with suitable control panel with starters and push button to actuate the
drive and for blower The circuits consists of MCCBs, relays and contractors in series
Ample overload protection is provided by the MCCB and the relay Wires coming out of
the connections are numbered for easy recognition

09 Mounting

The motor and gearbox is mounted inside sturdy MS frame and the pan
mounted on the Gearing housing fitted in the stand. Blower mounted inside
the Structure frame.

09 Materials of Construction

The materials of construction should be inert and compatible with a wide range of materials
and cleaning agents. 316 stainless steel (mirror polish) if required for the pan and product
contact surfaces. Non-metallic product contact surfaces such as silicone tubes should be
certified non-toxic food grade material and the manufacturer must specify materials of
construction.-Yes-all contact parts in SS 316L , Non Contact parts-SS 304 , gaskets-Food
grade silicon rubber.

10 Finish

All joints argon Arc welded and all SS Parts polished to suitable finished
required of pharmaceutical equipment MS parts painted to smooth finish.

11 Operation

The product is to be filled inside the pan. During the rotation motion, coating
material is sprayed by spraying system according to the technological process
and rational technological process. So process materials (product) are coated due
to rotating pan. The coating round pot is rotated main drive unit. At the same
time hot air is supplied through inbuilt Hot air blower system which dries
rapidly (heating or cooling) and evenly thus forming a solid and smooth surface.

WARRANTY: 12 Months from Shipment date. Complete machines and/or main

equipment are under warranty against defective materials, faulty workmanship
and/or any manufacturing defects, for a period of 12 Months from the date of
dispatch. Fast wearing parts and/or wear arising from normal wear & tear are
not included in the scope of this guarantee. Moreover, we are not responsible for
electrical, bought-out items, and/or accessories/equipment for which a
warranty is provided by the original manufacturer and which can be availed of
by you to the extent the warranty is available at time of supply. Under this
warranty we agree to repair at our factory or replace without charge, ex-our-
works, equipment or part(s) there of which within 12 Months from the date of
shipment dispatched, shall prove to have been defective when shipped provided
the purchaser gives us notification in writing within 10 days after discovery of
such defects & immediately delivers (at purchaser’s risk & cost) the defective
part(s) to our works, our company’s liability for damage cause by such defective
part(s) shall be limited to repairing replacement as specified above. No
allowance shall be made for any repairs or alterations made by the Purchaser
without our prior written consent.

The equipment can’t be warrantied in the following cases:-

• Equipment has not been used in the prescribed manner.
• Equipment operated by any unskilled person or unauthorized person has
tempered with machine.
• If the purchaser does not obtain our prior approval on commissioning the
machine without our services.

STORAGE AND SAFE CUSTODY: It is the Purchaser’s responsibility to

provide suitable storage facilities & insure all goods supplied against all risks.

LIMITATIONS TO LIABILTY: The Company shall not be liable for any claims
for consequential losses, damages, injuries etc. The total liability for all claims of
whatsoever nature shall at all times be limited to the value of the goods supplied,
which are related to such claim.

PROPERTY RIGHT & GENERAL LIEN: As unpaid supplier we shall retain the

property right in the goods & our right of lien & resale until full value thereof (as
per our Invoice) is paid to us. We shall entitle to general lien on the goods & in
purchaser’s possession under such order for all money (for the time being) due
to us by the purchaser both under the same order and/or any other account &
shall also be entailed to apply & money in our hands under any order to money
due to us under any orders.

ARBITRATION: All disputes & different arising out of/or connected with this
order failing amicable settlements, shall be referred to arbitration under the
Indian Arbitration Act, 1940 or any statutory modification thereof for the time
being in force and such arbitration shall take place only in Mumbai, India. The
purchaser & Supplier will select the arbitrator by mutual consent.

TRIAL MATERIAL : Please note that we will not be arranging any trial material
for the tests. If at all this is mandatory, the cost of the trial material will be borne
by the customer at actuals. The quantity of trial material and the specifications
will need to be informed to bodhi innovations ,10 days before the tests. In the
event Bodhi innovations is not able to source this material, it will be the sole
responsibility of customer to arrange the same at their expense. Disposal of the
material will be in customers scope as we do not have the necessary facilities to
do so.
