Production controlling management system

Product management is an organizational lifecycle function within a company dealing with the planning, forecasting, or marketing of a product or products at all stages of the product lifecycle. The role consists of Product development and product marketing, which are different efforts, with the objective of maximizing sales revenues, market share, and profit margins. The product manager is often responsible for analyzing market conditions and defining features or functions of a product. The role of product management spans many activities from strategic to tactical and varies based on the organizational structure of the company. Product management can be a function separate on its own, or a member of marketing or engineering. While involved with the entire product lifecycle, product management's main focus is on driving new product development. According to the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA), superior and differentiated new products ones that deliver unique benefits and superior value to the customer is the number one driver of success and product profitability. Depending on the company size and history, product management has a variety of functions and roles. Sometimes there is a product manager, and sometimes the role of product manager is shared by other roles. Frequently there is Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibility as a key metric for evaluating product manager performance. In some companies, the product management function is the hub of many other activities around the product. In others, it is one of many things that need to happen to bring a product to market and actively monitor and manage it in-market. Product management often serves an inter-disciplinary role, bridging gaps within the company between teams of different expertise, most notably between engineering-oriented teams and commercially-oriented teams. For example, product managers often translate business objectives set for a product by Marketing or Sales into engineering requirements. Conversely they may work to explain the capabilities and limitations of the finished product back to Marketing and Sales. Product Managers may also have one or more direct reports who manage operational tasks and/or a Change Manager who can oversee new initiatives.

So for reducing these suffering of the people, we have to decide to make suitable software for this type of work properly, where the people do not suffer more problems and they can save their valuable time. With this flow of development and with the recent advent of the Internet and World Wide Web various institutions have promoted new technology to do their daily tasks. INCOME TAX MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. Now we are in the age of online, we feel the importance to do our daily jobs computerize system. We are trying to develop software which will provide lots of facilities to collect tax in a synchronized way. The tax collecting system divided into many modules and income Tax system creates an environment which facilitates both tax collectors and tax assesses. With the flow of development we are going to introduce an on line income Tax System that can be helpful for our National board of revenue.

Real Estate Management System


Real Estate Management System is a project, which deals with buying, selling and rent or leases a property in a location. The storage unit containing data associated with the real estate management unit and a plurality of site records wherein each site record contains data about a property being managed using the real estate management system; and the computer implemented real estate management unit further comprising: a site selection module, a store design module and a facilities maintenance module that, for each property being managed using the real estate management system, manages one or more work orders for repair and maintenance associated with each property being managed using the real estate Automation system.

Modify an existing record as needed and deleting the record, which is no longer needed. The prime aspects of this project are searching. We can search and display a record according to ID Number of a Video item customer and member. This project has a potential to be helpful in the working of any library of this type. We used the Entity-Relationship model to designa database that will store and organize the library's data. We have created the database using SQL and populated it with some sample data. The system can keep track of library cards, customers, librarians, library locations, books, videos, and the relationships between them. Using Java Server Pages, servlets, and JDBC, we have created an Internet-based graphical user interface that allows customers and librarians to access the system remotely

While human resource management is sometimes referred to as a "soft" management skill, effective practice within an organization requires a strategic focus to ensure that people resources can facilitate the achievement of organizational goals. Effective human resource management also contains an element of risk management for an organization which, as a minimum, ensures legislative compliance. Human resource management is based on the assumption that employees are individuals with varying goals and needs. Human resources should not be categorized with basic business resources. Practicing good human resource management (HRM) enables managers of an enterprise to express their goals with specificity, increasing worker comprehension of goals, and provide the necessary resources to promote successfully accomplishment of said goals. HRM is seen by practitioners in the field as a more innovative view of workplace management than the traditional approach. Its techniques force the managers of an enterprise to express their goals with specificity so that they can be understood and undertaken by the workforce and to provide the resources needed for them to successfully accomplish their assignments. As such, HRM techniques, when properly practiced, are expressive of the goals and operating practices of the enterprise overall. HRM is also seen by many to have a key role in risk reduction within organizations. Synonyms such as personnel management are often used in a more restricted sense to describe activities that are necessary in the recruiting of a workforce, providing its members with payroll and benefits, and administrating their work-life needs.

A call centre or call center is a centralized office used for the purpose of receiving and transmitting a large volume of requests by telephone. A call centre is operated by a company to administer incoming product support or information inquiries from consumers. Outgoing calls for telemarketing, clientele, product services, and debt collection are also made. In addition to a call centre, collective handling of letters, faxes, live chat, and e-mails at one location is known as a contact centre.A call centre is often operated through an extensive open workspace for call centre agents, with work stations that include a computer for each agent, a telephone set/headset connected to a telecom switch, and one or more supervisor stations. It can be independently operated or networked with additional centers, often linked to a corporate computer network, including mainframes, microcomputers and LANs. Increasingly, the voice and data pathways into the centre are linked through a set of new technologies called computer telephony integration (CTI).Most major businesses use call centers to interact with their customers. Examples include utility companies, mail order catalogue retailers, and customer support for computer hardware and software. Some businesses even service internal functions through call centers. Examples of this include help desks, retail financial support, and sales support. A contact center, also known as customer interaction centre is a central point of any organization from which all customer contacts are managed. Through contact centers, valuable information about company are routed to appropriate people, contacts to be tracked and data to be gathered. It is generally a part of companys customer relationship management (CRM). Today, customers contact companies by calling, emailing, chatting online, visiting websites, faxing, and even instant messaging.

This is one of the online college portals. All the students of college have the chance to utilize the services provided by this Portal. It provides lot of services that are exclusively useful for the students of the college and some of them are Articles, Events and News and so on. Some of the important services provided by the portal are: Events: Gives the information about the events which are going to be conducted by the college. Articles: Presents the articles on about the college and activities. News: This is similar to the service provided by the news server. We can get the up-to-date news here. Here we are allowed to add the news to the news repository.Existing system is not computerized and it is very difficult to manage and inform any details regarding events or tours that are going to be conducted by the college. In addition to this it is more paper work and time wasting process. We have to face high-level risk to maintain it. In order to overcome all these problems the project is developed from manual procedure to automated one and that too using web based technologies.

Gold Jewelers administrative system


The Project entitled Gold jewelers admin System application would efficiently control and utilize the management resources and give the necessary information to the shop by inter connecting the component of the system. Jewelers management deals with the purchasing of raw materials, selling of jewels, viewing of Gold, Silver, Diamond ornaments like Chain, Necklace, Earrings, Bangles, Bracelets, Ring, Anklets, Watch, etc., The processing of this application consists of the details regarding the jewels and the customer. The main objective of this system is to reduce time consumption and to provide easy storage and ret rival of information and to avoid manual errors. And also provide current rate for the list of jewelers and models of the jewels.

Resume tracking system

Many multinational companies are providing job for the candidate. The job selection of candidates is done through campus interviews. The project resume tracking system assists the company or organization in keeping records and status of candidate in various interview levels. Using the existing system, you can manage all your information from a single database file. Within the file, divide your data into separate storage containers called tables; view, add, and update table data using online forms; find and retrieve just the data you want using queries; and analyze or print data in a specific layout using reports. To store your data, create one table for each type of information you track. To bring the data from multiple tables together in a query, form, or report, you define relationships between the tables. To find and retrieve just the data that meets conditions you specify, including data from multiple tables, create a query. A query can also update or delete multiple records at the same time, and perform built-in or custom calculations on your data.

Shopping mall
A Mall Shopping system that permits a customer to submit online orders for items and/or services from a store that serves both walk-in customers and online customers. The Mall Shopping system presents an online display of an order cutoff time and an associated delivery window for items selected by the customer. The system accepts the customer's submission of a purchase order for the item in response to a time of submission being before the order cutoff time. The Mall Shopping system does not settle with a credit supplier of the customer until the item selected by the customer is picked from inventory but before it is delivered. Therefore, the customer can go online and make changes to the order. In addition, available service windows are presented to the customer as a function of customer selected order and service types; and further, the order picking is assigned in accordance with a picker's preference.

Infants info system


Computerize the process of registering the childs birth information. Helpful to generate reliable information on various demographic indicators like Birth and Death Rates, Infant Mortality Rate, Maternal Mortality rate, Child Sex Ratio, at district and sub-district level. Modern birth certificates contain much valuable information, including personal identifying data; data about the mother and, if possible, the father; the date, place, and manner of birth; and the birth weight. If the infant is not named at the time of birth, this information can be added later. The infant's position in birth order among his or her siblings, and information about other biological facts, such as race or ethnicity, is recorded in some jurisdictions. Births are registered locally, and birth certificates are usually issued locally as well. The information is transmitted to a regional center and then to a national center where the statistics are compiled and where individuals can obtain a copy of their birth certificate when they need it later in life for various statutory purposes.

Title: Printing press system.


Abstract: In high-speed printing press practice the splicing of an expiring roll of paper to a replacement roll is one of the most delicate operations. Splicing of the web must be performed at all running speeds of the press, leaving the ``butt'' with only a minimum of paper remaining. The success depends to a great extent on accurate timing of the start of the operation as well as the actual splicing. Manual starting and completion of a splice is subject to error of judgment of the operator and is uneconomical. This paper describes an automatic system in which the increase of rotational speed of the roll delivering paper at a constant linear speed is monitored by an electric tachometer. The tachometer accurately gages the diminishing roll diameter and produces the necessary signals for the operation, without contacting the roll with any mechanical device which could cause the web to break or mar the paper surface.

Abstract: This project is aimed at developing an online application for the Training and Placement Dept. of the college. The system is an online application that can be accessed throughout the organization and outside as well with proper login provided. This system can be used as an application for the TPO of the college to manage the student information with regards to placement. Students logging should be able to upload their information in the form of a CV. Visitors/Company representatives logging in may also access/search any information put up by Students. The TPO will update the interview date and place to each related departments. The TPO will arrange the training program to students and also maintain the program details like Date, Hall, and Gust and also time, etc.

Title: Voting System


Abstract: The project "Voting System aims at making the voting process easy in cooperative societies. Presently voting is performed using ballot paper and the counting is done manually, hence it consumes a lot of time. There can be possibility of invalid votes. All these make election a tedious task. In our proposed system voting and counting is done with the help of computer. It saves time, avoid error in counting and there will be no invalid votes. It makes the election process easy. The On-line Voting System is a web based system that facilitates the running of elections and surveys online. This system has been developed to simplify the process of organizing elections and make it convenient for voters to vote remotely from their home computers while taking into consideration security, anonymity and providing auditioning capabilities. Users are individuals who interact with the system. All user interaction is performed remotely through the user's web browser. Users are categorized into three classes: Administrator, Returning Officers and Voters. A running version of the system will have only one Administrator but it typically has multiple returning officers and voters. The administrator is responsible for managing user accounts, polls, system resources and logs and for the health and safekeeping of the system. Returning officers have the responsibility of managing a poll as assigned by the administrator, whereas voters only have the ability to submit ballots on polls in which they are admitted.

Title: Multimedia application system.


Abstract: The project involves developing a multimedia application, which shall be pursued in order to solve a particular profit or non-profit making business need. The applications usefulness via its interactivity will be examined, which are the main constraints of the project. In order to prove a successfully managed project, although there is no specific approach devised for multimedia development, the procedure will partly involve the Software Life Cycle or Waterfall approach. The final product must enable users to browse the required information and provide feedback, to the company. The purpose of creating this multimedia application will comply with the basic requirements, including being effective and useful to the real world.

Computer databases can stores data in different form from simple lines of text to complex data structures that include pictures, sounds or video images. Data management involves creating, modifying, deleting, and adding data to generate reports. The software that allows performing these functions is known as a Database Management System (DBMS). Thus the DBMS is a collection of data and program that help you to retrieve this data and perform operations on it.

Abstract: Our project basically deals with developing an application BS (Billing

System). The Energy Billing System is an Executive Information System that could be used for entering, calculating and monitoring the Billing details of the Consumers. It provides environment to maintain the consumer details starting from getting new connection, receiving bill, payments etc., and performance information to the management. It would be an Intranet and Internet based software solution that would ensure timely availability of status parameters. The ability to view the reports online ensures access to these reports from any machine on the ex-LAN and WAN network. It will submit transaction report day by day. It will provide the stock report based on selling product.

In this project or application we will display the latest model or design in the fashion and also discount rates.

Title: Stock management system


Abstract:
The Stock Management discipline encompasses all system and data network elements from the mainframe to the server level throughout the enterprise. All mainframe and data network based hardware and software assets must be identified and entered into the Inventory System. changes to these environments must be reflected in the Inventory System. Any Financial and

technical product information must be available through the Inventory System, as needed to support the functional responsibilities of personnel within the finance and contracts management departments. Asset criticality must be included with asset descriptive and financial information, so that the Recovery Management department is supplied with the information it requires. Recovery actions must be implemented to safeguard critical assets. Asset status must be included in the Inventory Management system, so that the component(s) can be serviced in adherence to legal, environmental, business, and industry requirements. This process should be used to drive the facilities management department via form routing when components change status from active to redeploy, donate, terminate, of scrap. An audit trail of activities associated with equipment status changes and associated actions must be maintained to certify actions and eliminate legal and civil exposures. The Standards and Procedures Manual section relating to Stock Management must be created and published. This section must describe the process by which assets are identified, entered into the Inventory Management System, tracked, and finally deleted. All information needed by personnel to perform Inventory Management functions must be clearly described within this S&P Manual section.

Title: Advanced file splitter & merger


Abstract: File Splitter is software which is used to split the user specifying file according to the user specifying size. It is very difficult to transfer one big file from one end to another through any media like internet or small storage like Floppy, Pen drive etc. This software helps to overcome this problem. The spitted portions of file may carry some temporary information to denote the number of spitted part and total number of parts etc. This idea is used to split big files to small pieces for transferring purpose, uploading etc. In the destination side, these parts of file can be jointed to form the original source file. Splitting process is mainly aiming in the area of file transferring from one end to another. To ensure the security, the user can include password to split and combine the files. This spitted portion will be in non readable format and will be encrypted. If the user has given password to split, the same password is required to do the combining option.

Title: Cargo management system


Abstract:
The Cargo Management System (CMS) is a web-based facility. The system has evolved from a ship loading management tool to a fully fledged Cargo Management System with the ability to manage multiple locations /cargo types (including bulk, break-bulk and containers) and transportation mediums. The benefits of the system are captured in the slogan: The system has been developed with the aim of ensuring that all staff members who interact with the system can do so with ease. This ensures companywide user adoption of technology into the working environment. Being web-based, remote access to the system makes the tracking and managing of procedures possible even when a user is off site. Access to the system is managed through a multi-tiered security structure. This ensures that access to information, is based on the security level assigned to users. These user profiles can be adjusted as required through add, edit and delete functions available to the system administrator.

It is understood that although Companies may perform similar operations, no two facilities function in the same way. CMS has taken this into consideration. The system can be customized to ensure a fit for purpose application that will minimize users resistance to adopting new technology and limits the disruptive nature of rigid systems that do not take client specific processors / procedures into account. The overall architecture ensures rapid, cost effective onsite deployment. Naturally where custom development is required for the system for integration into other facilities, or to align the system to particular on-site requirements, this could be done. Being a management system, reporting plays an integral part to its success. Progress reports can be generated online or sent direct to client or management via e-mail or SMS. A special feature is the click and e-mail function as featured in the Bulk connections loading progress report.

Title: Image processing using Fingerprint


Abstract: Finger Print Recognition is concerned with the difficult task of matching the images of finger print of a person with the finger print present in the database efficiently. Finger print Recognition is used in forensic science which helps in finding the criminals and also used in authentication of a particular person. Since, Finger print is the only thing which is unique among the people and changes from person to person. The present paper describes finger print recognition methods using various edge detection techniques and also how to detect correct finger print using a camera images. The present paper describes the method that does not require a special device but a simple camera can be used for its processes. Hence, the describe technique can also be using in a simple camera mobile phone. The various factors affecting the process will be poor illumination, noise disturbance, viewpoint-dependence, Climate factors, and Imaging conditions. The described factor has to be considered so we have to perform various image enhancement techniques so as to increase the quality and remove noise disturbance of image. The present paper describe the technique of using contour tracking on the finger print image then using edge detection on the contour and after that matching the edges inside the contour.

Advertisements in a newspaper are typically short, as they are charged for by the line, and one newspaper column wide. Publications printing news or other information often have sections of classified advertisements; there are also publications which contain only advertisements. The advertisements are grouped into categories or classes such as "for sale - telephones", "wanted - kitchen appliances", and "services - plumbing", hence the term "classified. Classified advertisements are much cheaper than larger display advertisements used by businesses, and are mostly placed by private individuals with single items they wish to sell or buy.

Title: Company information tracking system


Abstract: The Company Information Tracking keeps track the information about the vehicles, employees, vendors and the products .It also the keeps track the maintenance performed for different vehicles which are used for transportation. The super users of the system are the ADMIN and the MANAGERS of the different departments allocated by the admin. The admin may be the owner of the organization or the manager department of a particular manufacturing company.

Add the new product details. The details includes whether it is a new one or taken any loan/lease. Any employee is newly appointed or the existing employee is taken off both the details are maintained including their personal details and profession details. The details of the maintenance that are being performed such as repairs/services and to be performed are also maintained. The maintenance to be performed can also be scheduled for each type of products. The reorder level and the reorder quantity are predefined for each particular type of part. The Vendors are suppliers of the products, parts and performs maintenance required for the products. The particulars of the various vendors are maintained in this system.

The major idea is to provide a series of services to the customer through the internet, and make the customer feel flexible in calling out simple tasks faster instead of making visit to the bank every time. The ebanking service is open only to savings bank. Customers and not for current account holders. The customer is privileged to use most of the system only as a viewing phase, the only online transactions the customer can do are chequebook requisition and fund transfer among his personal accounts. You can create (save and load) your own convolution filters or filters based on standard mathematical morphology operators. Colorized grid makes it very convenient to work with custom convolution filters. A preview window allows you to view results of changing filter parameters on the fly. You can scroll an image using mouse in preview area. All filters are applied only to the portion of image currently viewed to speed up preview. A PhotoShop like histogram allows you to get information about mean, standard deviation, median, minimum and maximum values. The program allows copying to or paste from clipboard, save and print images.
