PRAYER AND PRAISE

Pray that the Lord would heal Jim Baker of all his cancer and other illnesses, and restore the strength of his youth. Pray that Jims family find strength and peace over the Christmas season. May they enjoy the blessings of the Lord, be they big or small and that their love for each other would sustain them all. Pray that the Lord would refresh our church families this holiday season, give them safe travels, and renewed relationships with one another. Please pray that the Lord would draw new families to our church this Christmas season through ministries like the Community Christmas Celebration. Pray for Alliance churches in France as they open their doors to friends and neighbours for Christmas services. Among the churches, Trinity International in Paris and EPI in the Toulouse area will hold outreach services on th 18 December. Pray for a positive response to the gospel presentation.

The Preschool ministry begins at the start of the service in the Creche, and 5-13 year olds are dismissed part way through the service for Sunday School. Information on who we are, as well as on all of our ministries are available online at www.whac.net.nz Each week, we share a cuppa together after the service, and would love for you to stay for a chat.

The Community Christmas Celebration

A big thank you to everybody at WHAC for taking part in last night's Community Christmas Celebration. It was so wonderful to have so many people invited to join us, and to have so many of you support the evening with such a wonderful variety of foods. A special thank you to those who helped plan the evening, to those who spent countless hours cutting and filling and tying and presenting, and also to our wonderful choir and choir directors for all their hard work.

Speaker: Matt Mordaunt Topic: A Complicated Pregnancy

Please stay for a cup of tea or coffee in the hall or for prayer with an Elder in the Sanctuary.

Christmas Weekend
With Christmas being a Sunday morning, we know that many of you will be spending time with friends and family all over NZ. And so, to make life a little less hectic, we will be hosting identical services on Christmas Eve from 7:00 (followed by a light supper), and Christmas morning from 10:30 (starting with morning tea). You are all welcome to join us at whatever time suits you best.

MINISTRIES FOR CHILDREN at WHAC

Ages 0-1 Ages 2-4 Ages 5 - 13 If you need to take your infant out of the service, a play area has been set up in the foyer for your convenience. The Preschool ministry begins at the start of the service, and is located diagonally to the left as you exit the sanctuary. Kids club takes place in the hall during the sermon. A notice will appear on the screen when it is time to dismiss your children.

Tonga in 2012
Last winter, 13 people from Alliance churches in Auckland spent 10 God-filled days in the Kingdom of Tonga, and we're doing it again in 2012! We'll be working with a ministry for disabled children, a local and vibrant Tongan congregation, and with the powerful Christian radio ministry in the capital city. If you'd like to find out more about what's to come, an information meeting is being planned for you in early February.

To give towards this gift, simply put your donation in a brown offering envelop (available on the back table) and write: "WHAC gift" on the front.
