The holidays are here and you know what that means! Presents, to give to others, family, to spend time with Divisional Potluck...1 others who dont have one, lots of love, to spread around those who dont have someone to love them and Key Leader Results..2 food, to give to others who are going hungry. There are a countless number of ways you can spend your Christmas District Convention.2 serving others. I surely hope you can find at least one way you can brighten the day of someone else who is in 25C PR Submission 2 need. As Key Clubbers we embody the spirit of Christmas and what it stands for. Please keep this spirit in focus and you will receive much more than you can give. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!

Divisional Potluck Dinner/DCM


Come out and support Maternal/NeoNatal Tetanus while celebrating the sounds of the season and having a nice dinner. Each participant costs $5 and all of the money will be donated to the Eliminate Project which prevents babies from a violently painful death . Each club is asked to bring one dish ranging from spaghetti to rice/beans to cupcakes! The event will be held at Miami Lakes Ed. Center at 5:30 P.M. at 5780 NW 158th Street Miami Lakes Fl 33014. We will be minimally going over the elections and procedures for January but other than that the DCM will be filled with socializing and other holiday filled activities. Hope to see you there!

DCON Is Around the Corner!!

Believe it or not District Convention 2012 is just around the corner! Just some quick information : The dates of DCON is May 10-13th please plan on having ALL of your officers at DCON 12. The time to start fundraising is NOW! The cost of convention is $230 for a quad room and needs to be paid before March 30th if not, the price will go up. Saturday, December 10th will be our divisions first fundraiser for the Eliminate Project. Each club is invited to ask for donations to the cause in exchange for a bag of Kiwanis peanuts at local Publixs. The event will run from 8 A.M. until 3 P.M. We want 3-5 motivated Key Clubbers that are good at public relations/ fundraising to come and raise money for the cause from each club. The schedule for shifts is as follows:

Goal: $400 [$200/store]

If so, the time to consider these positions is NOW because club elections will be held in January and February for positions such as Club President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Editor. In addition, on February 11th at Spring Zone Rally we will be electing our divisions new Lieutenant Governor. Campaigning for district positions such as District Governor, Treasurer, and Secretary and for International positions such as International President, Vice President, and Trustees starts in January.
