2011 has been a hugely successful year for Earthfall, starting with the final leg of The Factory tour in spring, followed on by a sell-out revival tour of At Swim Two Boys across the UK. A coproduction with Teatr Chorea, After The Birds, was performed in front of members of the EU Parliament in Ludz, and ended with a Christmas run at the renowned Meyerhold Centre in Moscow. Other international work included choreographing Chorea's 2011 Oratorium Dance Project in November. At Swim Two Boys has been Earthfalls runaway success story. Listings short copy: Earthfalls award winning 2005 production of At Swim Two Boys, based on the novel of the same name by Jamie ONeill, is being revived for 2012. Featuring 2 male dancers and 2 musicians the story unfolds against a cascading wall of water that slowly fills the stage. Tender and visually beautiful the production reflects the boys developing love against the turmoil of political revolution during the 1916 Easter Risings.
